I done a recky last night in Norwich city stores and there's not much left there either. Any other Norwich ladies or gents on here?
Stock levels instore change before the sale as a lot of stock is shipped in to the larger stores just for the 70% off sale, the only way of getting a true look at your local store is by going late next Tuesday night.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. My local store has put out a lot (like a full row of shelfing) of S&G Whole She-Bang! Wonder if they will be going cheaper than £25, before the 70%?
I know in 2013 or 12 there was the Sancturary big set for £10, to get rid of stock!0 -
I have stupid,y brought picks and pieces at 50% will be gutted if they go down to 70% although most of what I got is now oos. Does the perfume sets get further reduced?0

In my local Boots they have a policy of no more than 6 items from the clearance counter. Wonder if they adopt this for sale items too? Have to say that in my experience they turn a blind eye to the people that they like.....0

I doubt it, my local Boots on 70% off day is a free for all with people wiping the shelves directly into suitcases and then taking them to the checkout and also grabbing things out of peoples baskets.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I think they just want rid of the stock. Like other posters have said, in my local Boots, people were just sweeping stuff off the shelves into trolleys and then going off into a corner to see if there's anything they don't want. Something similar to when they reduce the fresh food at Tesco, every evening.0 -

I wish my local boots had that policy for the clearance section. When its sale time in January people just sweep the shelves, then queue up and look through their trolleys (not sure where they get those from, no supermarket logo on them) to see what they put in there.
Am still always excited to see what the sales have to offer, even though at times I may only manage to secure 1 gift set, still better than none.:)You are 48% tight

Ours just want the stuff gone, luckily (so far) it's all relatively civilised here and I don't think we get many people who are selling it on afterwards.
I think more stock has arrived back at the warehouses today, things that I couldn't get in my online basket are now going in and there are a few new bits online.
I had an early look in our local boots today, lots (and I mean LOTS!) of the big sets of smellies (same as the ones online) and a pretty good selection of the smaller stuff. I'll do my usual and have a final reckie the day before, but I should be able to pick up what I need for the next year present-wise.0 -
this is the first year I'm not even gonna bother with boots sale. It's getting worse every year and the items are overpriced anyway or not full size. I can pick up better bargains throughout the year. But good luck to you all! I will miss the thrill of 3am shopping haha0

The most dire selection of stuff I have ever seen and only me, DD and another woman looking! I am thinking this year I will just try online and forget the store. Of course that might change as I hate to miss a bargain!!
I never rely on the website, too hit and miss as to what will be in stock and risk of things dropping out of the basket or website crashing!
It'll be in store for me!!0
