    Well done :D

    Well done :D

    Thankyou.x.
  • Good morning, although it's wet and miserable.

Not sure what my plans are for today as DS went to sports club last night and didn't get in until 10pm and then stayed up late playing xb0x so will be a grizzly bear if I try and get him up out of bed before 12 and frankly its not worth the drama if we aren't going anywhere and DD has an extra shift at work this afternoon, so thinking of a quiet day at home. Both children at at sports club tonight with DH so I get a nice quiet evening to myself:D.

Checked banking this morning and a couple of DD have gone out, no sales on £bay but I need to sort out some relists and list some new bits.
Requested £5.60 from quidc0 that should hit bank account around Friday.

Bought a Dyl0n black dye off £bay for £5 which arrived yesterday, going to do DD black skinny jeans that have got washed out, figured it was cheaper than buying new ones for her;).

Quiche for tea tonight which I need to make, will do extra pastry and make jam tarts for the hungry bears in the house, nice and cheap:D.

    Today's to do list -

    Dye Jeans.
    Surveys.
    Flylady.
    £bay listings/relists.
    washing/ironing (2 loads minimum).
    Read a book/watch a film/general me time if possible.

    Have a great day.x.

Hi penny, I've just read all your diary and I'm so glad that you managed to have your family holiday earlier this year. You always seem to be so busy I don't know how you pack it all in, but I'm the same as you I like to potter around the house!

Xmas market in Edinburgh sounds good, I'd really like to go to one of the German ones but maybe next year.

Hope you having a good summer holiday so far, H x

Thankyou for taking the time to read my diary, it's not the most exciting and I do waffle a bit.
I laughed at your bit about busy, I'm off work for the 6 weeks holidays and I told DH yesterday that i'm bored and ready to go back:rotfl:, I sound like one of the kids.
  • Morning.

Well the pan for today was to get various chores/errands done this morning whilst the [STRIKE]vampires[/STRIKE] teenage darlings sleep and then after lunch go to a huge maize maze thats about an hour away from us, it takes around 2hrs to find your way around/out and then get a takeout pizza on the way home for tea, but the weather is totally pants and I don't want to trailing around a field for 2 hours in the rain . So not sure what to do will do my chores/errands and speak to DC/DH and see what they want to do.

Dyed 2 pairs of DD skinny jeans and a pair of my jeggings and they have come out looking brand new, really pleased as dd skinny jeans had gone grey they had been washed so many times, so can highly recommened dylon machine dye.

I have managed to get some tickets to watch a football match, DS had been waffling on about some M@n utd legends game, anyway bought the tickets cost £54 but thought that was really good value for the 4 of us, I'm now the best mum in the world:D.

Made a few £bay sales yesterday, so have sent £7 to MBNA/NEXT/SUMMER SAVINGS, listed some more items yesterday and have some bids on items ending today only around £10 but it all helps.

    To do list-

Arrange to meet friend for lunch/coffee.
    Post office run.
    £bay listings.
    Washing/ironing
    Surveys
    Flylady.
    Something with children this afternoon.

    Have a great day.x.

Hope you enjoyed your day whatever you got up to Pennywise. We have one of those mazes about an hour away to which were wanting to try out at some point.

Ooohhh thats interesting about the dye, will try that one at some point I'm sure.

Yay to the tickets too :T xx

  • Morning and the monsoon weather continues, is it to much to ask to see the sun in August, I'm not even asking for cracking the pavements hot, just a little bit of sunshine so we can get out without having to wear wellies and raincoats:mad:.

Extremely annoyed with myself this morning, checked new statement for Ha1ifax CC and noticed one of the 0% balance transfer I have runs out the end of this month  thought I had until Jan 2018, now its panic stations not sure what to do, I did a soft search on mse CC checker, only one I stood a chance of getting was card with aqua 0% for 4 months :(, problem is I have a hali card, mbn@, Tesc0, barc card so not much option left, so the question is do I leave next and mnb@ overpayments for now and throw them at ha1ifax which seems daft when its 0% for the rest of the month or do I throw as much as I can at MBN@ and hope I can pay off £1000 which with the balance spare on that cards means I could at the end of the month balance transfer it over at 0% for 12 months (they are offering me that at the moment). need to think about it.

In other news, before I checked above I made overpayment to MBN@/N£XT/SS of £18 to each.
Went out yesterday got wet, but it was fun but total spend including takeaway on the way home was £62, had budgeted £80 so with what was not spent and some £bay sales this went to over payment.
Quidco have released some more money so have withdrawn another £4.

Visiting family this afternoon, will have an early lunch then go, it's about a 45 minute journey and have a feeling I may need fuel, but will only put in £20. Will stop off at a post office on the way and send a couple of parcels.
Tea tonight is fishcakes, wedges and corn on the cob, quick and easy as DH is out playing sport.

Off to do some more number crunching :(.
