  • Morning.

Thanks for your kind wishes, feeling much better this morning :).
Had a lovely meal out last night and felt much better once out, stuck to drinking iced water and drove home.

Have been up since 6.30 and have managed to get a few jobs, including £bay listings and having another look through next months finances.
My goals for August are -
Put away £50 train tickets, keep checking for best prices (thanks Toni'sfriend).
Continue with summer pot - £130.
    Savings - £300
    MBNA pay off extra £150.
NEXT pay off extra £250:eek: but apr is more .

So any extra income will be divided by 4 and split between them, then when I hit a target, split between 3 and so on. My main goal is to pay NEXT off completely by Christmas.

Today i'm having a trip to big town, need to return bits to Next, nip into M&S to use a voucher I have, thinking meal deal. Wilkos for cleaning bits and I need a new kitchen bin as mine has a crack down the side.

DD is working today and I have a few jobs for DS to do at home, which may or may not result in some extra pocket money, depending on attitude and how good a job he does :rotfl:.

    Have a great weekend.x.

Have had a couple of sales on £bay so need to sort those out and also update sig, then I must do some housework and get washing on the line whilst the orange ball is glowing in the sky.
  • Quite a few sales today on £bay so I've been able to kick start my August challenge early :D. Decided to ignore general savings until summer saving target is hit.

    Afternoon diary.

Quiet day today, nipped to a1di this morning and spent £54 but think we are stocked up for the week now. Have a beef casserole in the slow cooker for tonight's tea, just need to make some yorky puds. Been a pretty chilled out afternoon, DS has been playing with his new basket ball and hoop which he loves, DD is hooked on Vampire diaries and has spent the afternoon chilling on the sofa, poor DH is at work so I've been listing on £bay and doing general housework.

Payday tomorrow so I have been through bank accounts and sent £5 each to summer saving pot/mbna/next.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.x.

    Morning, it's payday:j.

Feel good this morning, I was reading on a diary yesterday about how you have your lightbulb moment and then have further lightbulb moments as you go along your journey, this is how I feel at the minute and although I've been paying off debt and plodding along, I feel as though I've had another surge of enthusiasm.

Had a look at finances this morning, everything is ok and where it should be. I have paid off H&M account that was £46.61, bought DD some bits in May and should have paid it all off in one go but just paid the minimum, stupid when the Apr is about 30%, anyway I have paid it and it's gone :D. Have some items finishing on £bay today so hopefully will be able to make an overpayment later to N£XT/MBN@ and some to summer savings.

Last night we were supposed to have beef casserole for tea and I stupidly put the slow cooker on low instead of high , not a disaster and I didn't send DH for a takeaway, decided to use the sausages that were for tonights tea and made a toad in the hole, so beef casserole is on for tonights tea:D.

Not a bad day, managed to get quite a few things done, decided against uniform shop as DD wasn't feeling well.

Busy afternoon on £bay and sold a few items, 3bay fees paid and then sent £10 to each MBN@/N£XT/summer savings.
