  • Thanks all for the kind messages, thought I was doing really well and everything was ticking along nicely, then I go and break DS iPhone screen, will take it to town on Monday and get it fix but its an expense I could of done without:mad:

    Anyway onto brighter things-

family day out today to a localish animal park, the sun was shining and we had a great day, had some money off vouchers I got through work so managed to save £14 on entry costs and I offered both children £5 to spend in the gift shop and both declined:eek:, so a saving of £24, this has gone to SS/MBN@.
Checked banking when I got back and had received a couple of survey payments of £14.23 and have a;so sold a few little bits on £bay so have managed to send £34 to both summer saving and MBN@, getting so close to £500 for my summer saving target, really excited as once I hit that I can throw everything at MBN@ :j.

Both children are exhausted and laid in their rooms watching various films, DH is catching up with GOT (think I must be the only person in the country that can't stand it). So i'm mooching on here and then i'm going to do some bits that can be listed on £bay tomorrow.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.

  • Afternoon.

Lovely lunch out with friends and didn't spend a fortune £9, I had had a late breakfast so just had a sandwich and drink.

Sad news locally about a boy falling through a warehouse roof on a local industrial estate,my heart breaks for the family. Extra big hug for my 2 today, they are safe and well and that makes me a lucky mummy.

Weather has been pants this afternoon, did put washing out this morning, but stated raining whilst out and my 2 vampire children didn't think to get it in, havn't the heart to have a go at them after hearing the above news.

I'm out of my funk and feeling brighter, need to make more money though.

I saw the report of the 12 year old :( Such an awful accident. As a (near) teen you never expect it to happen to you and don't see the danger. I know now I think back to what I did and it terrifies me. A whole load of lives will never be the same.

Glad you had a lovely day and I think £9 is fab!
  • Awful news about the boy :(. Can't imagine how the family feel.

Glad you feel better though Xx
