    Morning.

First day of the school hols and I've been awake since 5.30 as my back is hurting, not sure what I've done but I've taken some pain killers and it is starting to ease, might mean I need a nanna nap this afternoon though.

Today we are going to into small town as DC want to go to a couple of shops, I was going to go to big town as I need to return some N£XT sale items that I frankly don't need and shouldn't have bought, only £28 but not needed, I am keeping a pair of jeans and a couple of tops for work. I will do this on wed/thurs.

Both children don't seem bothered about doing much this week, although DS has asked to go swimming which isn't a great cost and DD has asked if she can cook a meal for the family, I have given her a budget and she is busy planning 3 courses for us.

I have had a few sales on £bay over the weekend which need packaging up and dropping off at the PO, also have a few items to list. Not sure how the posting of items is going to work over the school hols, my nearest PO is 5 miles away and I pass it everyday going to and from work making dropping parcels off really easy, now with being off I am going to have to make a special trip, maybe only go every couple of day and alter listings to dispatch in 3 working days.

Need to pay MBN@ card today £80, chipping away and that's good. Also need to sit down and look at August finances, plan spends for trips away etc.

    Todays to do list -
    Wrap/post £bay parcels.DONE
    £bay relists/new listings.
    Meal plan/shopping list/food shop.DONE
    Pay MBN@ DONE
Start tidying out porch and kitchen cupboards.
    Washing/ironing.
    Surveys.

    Have a great day.

  • Morning.

Not much to update really, end of the month feeling and waiting on payday.

Today is a stay at home day, just going to potter (my favourite thing) and get a few jobs done, de-clutter a bit more and maybe catch up with a few tv programmes I've missed the last few weeks.

Finances have been checked and just DD for hal1fax CC to go out tomorrow £55 and then that's all the bills for this month paid.

DD cooked last night and it was lovely except lots of leftovers, so tonight I will just serve a bitsa tea and make a salad and warm so bread rolls up, this should stretch it all out to feed the four of us.

    TO do list-

Wrap £bay items, will post tomorrow.
    Ebay listings.
    Ring dentist
    General housework/washing/ironing.

    Quiet day today really.

    Morning.

Quick glance at finances and everything looking ok,£13 gone out for contact lenses, just DD for hali CC to go out. Need to sit and do next months finance and plan some goals, already have a couple in mind.

It's a wet, miserible day here. DD is off out with a friend and DS is home with me, I do need to nip to small town as I need to pop to the PO and also nip into a1di for a top up shop (only £5), might treat DS to a hot choccie and piece of cake whilst out.

Ordered a couple of bits for children last night, one was a book for DS that he had spotted on his school trip which was 15 euros and being the MSE boy that he is refused to pay that and looked on ebay and found it cheaper, I bought it last night for £3 :money:. Also bought a basketball hoop for £13. but I think this is more family as I can see it being used by us all. So DH job this weekend will be putting that up on the side wall.

Must do some baking today as we have a mountain of eggs, will also make yorky puds to go with the rst lamb we are having for tea.

Hope everyone is ok and have a good day.x.

Weather is awful here today too, hope you have a lovely day x
  • Morning.

Not much going on in the PWPS household. Children are in bed at the minute, DD is at work later and DS has sports club later on as well.

DD has already started with the xmas talk:eek: and would like to go to a Christmas market, so have decided to take her to Edinburgh Christmas shopping at the beginning of December, will be nice to spend some time together just me and her. Have had a look at train tickets and if I book early are about £50 return for us.

Been having a look at finances for August and have a few goals I want to hit.

    General savings pot - £300
Pay £150 off MBNA which currently stands at £3700:mad:.
Pay £250 off Next which is currently £737.
    £50 train tickets.

Also in the world of being MSE, DH came home with a chest freezer he has bought off a friend for £40, I now need to fill it, going to put everything in from small chest freezer and defrost and clean out and then do a big shop this weekend.

Completely ran out of tea bags, no one thought to mention the last of them had been put into tea tin:mad:, so i'm drinking ground coffee as I refuse to do a 12 mile round trip to a shop when I'm taking DS to sports club later this afternoon. At least drinking the coffee is more decluttering :).
