Hi Mummy and thankyou, sometimes when I speak to people and they realise I don't talk to certain members of my family they look at me like I have 2 heads and often say but they are family, thing is I don't think you can ever understand how painful it is to be deceived, lied about and treated so horrendously by someone that is supposed to be family unless you have been there and sometimes I feel as though I'm the only one.0 -
Quick update.
I have done some baking for packed lunches, made a pie for tea and cooked off veg scraps or chickens which are back laying again, so may be able to start having an egg based tea once aweek again.
Small spend on groceries, trying so hard to hold off doing a Grocery shop, wondering if we can last until Wednesday instead of tomorrow.

I can't even go into on here the things my brother has said about me but its horrendous! At one point DH and I wondered if he was making these things up to try and bribe us for money!! The irony of it ha!!
I think we probably look to the outside like we have lots of money... we don't do bad nowadays but we could be so much better off ha! He's a scrounger who has never worked a day in his life and reckons the world owes him. Anyway best get off my soapbox now!!! Just letting you know you're not the only one.
Yay to the boots for eBay. I need to put a pair of DDs old wellies on at some point xxMummytogirls x0 -
Evening all, feeling exhausted this evening, but still have a few jobs to do before bed, just having a cuppa and a mooch on here and then will get on and watch silent witness as well.
Small spend at Mr T today, just £1.85 on bread and crisps, still hanging on and trying not to do a big shop.
Groceries £220/£154.06
Cleaning £10/£2.68.
Toiletries £10/£9.56.
Everyone had packed lunches today, tuna sandwiches for the kids, carrot sticks, crisps and HM cake, I took an egg salad and chucked some leftover cold potatoes in as well to bulk it out.
Tomorrow kids are on sausage rolls, think I will take HM soup and fruit.
Few more surveys done this evening and relisted a couple of bits on £bay, still need to clean up boots and list. £7 made yesterday on £bay not much but it all adds up.0 -
Totally rubbish at updating at the minute.
Everything is great, work is busy but good, really trying hard to not spend any money, been concentrating on doing surveys after household chores have been done in an evening, managed to list 20 items on £bay at the weekend and have already made £25 on BINS. Received £15 from a survey site and also had a couple of items to test from survey sites.
Gone over budget on the grocery spends, hopefully I will do better next month.
Groceries £220/£226.06
Cleaning £10/£2.68.
Toiletries £10/£14.56.
Hope everyone is ok.x.0 -
Great to hear everything is going well Pennywise. You've only gone over by £3 over the 3 'cost centres' if you like so I wouldn't beat yourself up xxMummytogirls x0

Huge massive apologies for not being around.
So the reason is I had a brainwave just before Christmas (yes I know not like me) I spotted some Christmas items made from a natural product (don't want to go into too much detail) selling for silly money and I thought I can make those dead easy for nothing which I did, anyway turns out lots of people make these items for xmas, wedding etc but don't have the natural product so need to buy it and then make what they want themselves, so I've been busy making up the product to sell, hopefully it will bring in an extra income and help with life, managed to sell some so far around £50 which all helps. This time next year I could be a millionaire :rotfl:.
Not much else going on really, counting down to holiday and buying bits and pieces that we need, work has been crazy and we had the big O in at the end of Jan, another reason why I have not been around. Also had lots of birthdays and nights out so very expensive couple of weeks. Totally ready for half term, today is my first day at home and not rushing doing something, do have paperwork to do for local person who pays me in meat which is good as freezer stocks are getting low.
Hope everyone is ok,off to catch up on diaries xx.0 -
Morning diary.
Quiet day at home planned today, need to finish paperwork off and list a couple of items on £bay. DD is off to the cinema with friends and she already has money for this, had to laugh when she was organising meeting with her friends I could hear her saying that they would have to go earlier as they needed to go to £land first for snacks as cinema prices are stupid :money:.
Last night I sold an item on £bay which made £15 so that needs adding to the hols pot, also managed a few surveys yesterday, waiting on a payment from 0nep0ll and y0ug0v, so that will be a nice bonus to the hols pot when they finally payup.
Meals today are all from stores -
B - toast/cereal.
L - sandwiches, yoghurt, fruit.
T- beef casserole, mash,veg.
Must also catch up on washing and housework, DH is off work this weekend and I never seem to get as much done when he is about, we seem to sit around chatting and although that's not a bad thing it doesn't get chores done.
Hope everyone is ok.x.0
