Hi Brizz, good to hear from you. Peanut cookies sound awesome, got a recipe you could post for me.x.
  • Quick post as I am tired and headachy and still have a pile of jobs before bed.

    83p TT to HP.
£10.60 redeemed from p-base, had loads of surveys from them today including a £5 one for testing a product, so back up to £8.
  • Evening, quick post as last nights headache has turned into cold/sore throat. Can't wait for Friday as its half term I'm so ready for a week off.

Not much happening moneywise, week before payday so it's that end of the month feeling. Its been a NSD.

Redeemed £2.14 from quidc0, not much but it all adds up.

    Well done.

So what are your half term plans, particularly wise spending and how do they differ from when you aren't at work?

I find that being off can make me spend more -mainly around stuff for the children and I wanted to see how you manage it.

    Hi chanie,

Not a huge amount planned really, DS is at a grammar school and starts yearly exams when he goes back so he has a lot of revision to do.

I actually find that now they are teenagers they just want to hang with friends, DD has her own horse which takes up a lot of her time, DS plays a lot of sport and his sport clubs carry on as normal through the holidays, so I really don't spend a huge amount extra than I normally would. DD and myself are going for a facial and afternoon tea on one of the days but DH has already paid for this for my birthday treat. DS and DH have planned some extreme mountain biking at a local forest, they will take a packed lunch, only spend for them will be car parking and probably a pint/coke in the local pub on way home.
DS/DD may meet their friends one day in the local town and go to the cinema etc, but this has to come out of their monthly allowance, they get £20 off myself/DH and £10 off their grandparents.
Other than that we might go to the beach, walk dogs. We live in a very rural area so things are quite laid back and revolve a lot around our animals.

    Sorry probably not much help,

Evening, finally starting to feel human after having horrid sore throat/cold.

Small TT of 90p to hols pot, few surveys done but nothing paid out.

Got sent a large bar of chocolate to test (it's mine all mine, it says so in the letter:D).

    Hope everyone is ok.
