Afternoon all.
Still feeling pretty wiped out from virus thing I've had, done some general tidying up and put washing out on line, porch decluttered, some old shoes binned, swept out and mopped. I'm now chilling and watching Jaws with DD as she has never watched it and didn't want to watch on her own:rotfl:.
I'm off work now for 11 days so I'm going to try and spend as little as possible on groceries and try to use up what we have cooking from scratch, Meal plan has been done for this week. Also going to try and keep track of NSD.
Down to £30 in current account but I'm paid on Tuesday, I'm waiting on some survey payments (approx £45) these will go to hols pot, i've relisted 3 items on £bay I've had a search around but struggling to find anything else to list.
DS spent 2 hours this morning revising and has gone with his dad to cricket practice for a couple of hours.

Yesterday was a lovely day we packed up the car and went to a local beauty spot by a river, weather was wonderful, we played cricket and had some quality family time.
When we got home DH made tea which was delicious.
I even managed to get 2 loads of washing dried.

Another beautiful day, washing is on and dogs have been walked, DH has taken DD horse riding before it gets too warm.
We have friends coming over later for afternoon tea, so I have some baking to do.
Checked luckyph0ne this morning and I have won £10, redeemed it and it was in my paypa1 account in the hour :j, so that's been sent to hols pot.
Hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday weekend.x.0 -

Lovely chilled out day at home, friends over this afternoon and I made everything form stores for afternoon tea - egg sandwiches, ham sandwiches, choc traybake and scone with jam and cream. Also meant we didn't want much for tea tonight so settled on jkt spuds with cheese and salad.
Tomorrow is payday, I do need to go and do a small shop, mainly fruit, salad bits and bread.0 -
Morning, quick one before I nip to Mr S.
Payday so I have sent £100 straight to hols pot + £bay sale so another £4.50 to be added.0 -

Well its been a spendy day!

Nipped to the PO to post £bay parcel and then took DS to barber, huge long queue, so left him with the £6 and went to wander around a new charity that has opened close by, they had some lovely things ina nd I could have bought loads but was very restrained, I bought DD 2 summer dresses, a Jack Wills cotton summer dress for £3 and a AX paris skater dress with labels still attached for £4.50 she is totally made up, I bought myself a monsoon linen skirt for £5 and a beautiful Phase eight silk dress for £9, this dress is stunning but I have problem as in I can't do the zip all the way up, now I have a wedding to go to in 4 and half week, can I do it, can I fit in that dress, I will give it a go otherwise it will go on £bay.0 -

That's an impressive CS haul you got. I haven't got the patience for rummaging, even though I love a bargain!!!!
Good luck with getting into the dress, I'm sure you will be successful, penny. How are your eating habits when you aren't at work? I find I'm much better when I'm not at work, because when I'm at work, I'll want to eat everything in sight!!!
I really enjoy reading your meal posts, it gives me some good ideas for our meals - it's easy to get stuck in a food rut.0 -
Hi chanie.
I'm the same and don't like rummaging and being pushed and pulled but the shop was nice and quiet and everything was nicely put out, its a new CS in town so fingers crossed it stays nice.
My eating habits are better at work than home as i cant eat in the classroom and can only drink water. So I do tend to drink less caffine at work as I only have a hot drink at morning break and lunch. Food at work I tend to have fruit at break and then salad or soup at lunch with a yoghurt and more fruit, I do have cake at work a couple of times a week as someone always brings something in. At home I'm terrible I will graze all day and can easily drink 10 cups of tea. I'm really trying to be mindful this week of what I am eating.0
