Your CS shop seems nice. My local ones have a jumble sale feel about them. Although I love shopping and clothes, I'm quite lazy in that I hate it when clothes rails face sideways, rather than forwards. If it's not in my line of vision, I won't bother!!!
I'm desk based, so in order to get a break from my PC, I'll have multiple cups of tea. Plus, I eat out of boredom at work. Do you get to eat school dinners?
In terms of caffeine, I used to force myself to drink a glass of water while the kettle was boiling. It really reduced my tea intake, as by the time I'd made the teas, I wasn't that thirsty. I'm out of the habit now, so I should really get back into it.0 -

Good idea about the water, I'm going to try that when I'm at home.
I don't have school dinners, I could, but it would be £2.50 a day and to be honest I can bring things from home cheaper.0 -

I hope you are enjoying your half term, it's over before you know it though!!!
I always come back from visiting relatives with lots of stuff. I remember my aunt packing up all of our clothes and toys from when we were children (handed down for her youngest) and told us she would 'save them for when we had children'. So occasionally, I get given a hideous 80s outfit.0 -
Morning all.
Yesterday DH was off work and both DD/DS went into Town to meet friends. Dh decided to treat me to lunch so went to a little pub next to the canal, we just had sandwiches and chips but it was sooo good, we sat for 2 hours just chatting and enjoying each others company, the sun was shining and it was just wonderful to have so quality time together, I had 2 pints of cider in that time (DH was driving) and I felt quite squiffy:rotfl: and very naughty to be out drinking on a Thursday lunchtime. It was probably a blessing that we had to go and pick children up as I could have sat there all day drinking, laughing and watching the world go by.
My spends yesterday were £17, after picking kids up I nipped into Mr S to get some bread rolls for tea and having the kids and DH with me was fatal, especially after having 2 pints. So lots of carp bought.
Today we are staying home, I do need to nip out to post £bay parcel, but apart from that there will be no spending.
Weather is still nice here, I keep reading on the boards about people having rain and it being cold, we are having beautiful weather in the NW for a change, maybe its to make up for all the flooding we had a Christmas. Going to get some washing on and hung out.
Plodding along on the money front, Couple of DD to credit cards have gone out, debts going down and we are enjoying family life and that's what's important. Waiting on 2 survey payments which will give me £35 to throw at HP. waiting for a survey payment to clear on PB and then I can redeem from them. Couple of items ending on £bay this weekend which should bag me another £5.
All in all life is going ok and I have a lot to be thankful for.0 -
