  • Not a huge amount to update this evening, feel as though I am just plodding through this month trying to spend as little as possible.

Today has been a NSD, did post an £bay item but postage was covered for that so doesn't count.

All of us took packed lunches, I had a chicken salad, yoghurt and fruit to snack on, we had a quick tea tonight of beans on toast as DS is at sports club.

Reached payout on a survey site so have redeemed £25, takes up to 28 days to process so I won't see that until next month.

DS is driving me nuts I have had 3 emails from 3 different teachers in the space of a week, he's had a detention for not doing homework, lost one of his books, not shown up for a teacher when she gave up her own time to go through something he was struggling with. Seriously going to loose the plot with him when he gets back from sports club as I got the most recent email after he had left, he needs to loose some priviliges (sp) just need to decide what!

Apart rom DS everything is ticking along nicely.

I'm amazed how well you at doing with all of those little bits and pieces you do to up your income. I only have two survey sites (onepoll and more recently, yougov). I like the idea of eBay, but it feels like more hassle than its worth - I don't just don't have the time.
  • Thanks Chanie, I don't find £bay difficult at all reall, well only if I have a difficult buyer. I have an app on my phone, so it only takes minutes really to take a photo and list, once the item has a bid I wrap it so all it needs is the address putting on and I pass a post office everyday to and from work.
Surveys I either do on my phone in my lunch break or in an evening whilst watching tv.
  • Evening all.

Well I think the universe may be listening regarding work, I put it out there abut a move to infants, I may just have got my wish, will know for definite by the end of the week, but it's looking promising, thankyou universe.

Couple of spends today, £5 work collection, £2 tea money and £2.39 on onions and fruit.

Managed to make a pack of mince do 2 meals as I bulked it out with veggies, spag bol last night and a cottage pie tonight, enough left for lunches for myself and DH tomorrow.

P1necone survey done tonight so that will be £4 winging its way soon and £3 redeemed from mysurv3Y.

I think that is all, not much going on really.
  • Fingers crossed for the move to infants Xx

  • Another £3 redeemed from survey site and a 60p tilly tidy to hols pot.

Sainsburys have kindly sent be a bunch of £9/£12 off £60 spend vouchers, wondering whether to stock up on dry/cupboard/toiletries/cleaning stuff that's on offer.
  • Afternoon all.

Yesterday I received £3 from p1nec0ne which went to hols pot along with a TT of £1. Also put £20 fuel in the car.

Received a pot of face cream to trial today for a survey site, checked pan£lbase and have £9.60 cleared with £1.20 pending so should be able to redeem from them early next week.

Couple of £bay items finishing today, fingers crossed on another £10 to hols pot.

Going to do a grocery shop at Mr S tomorrow as I have vouchers to use and I noticed they are doing the 25% offer on clothes and I need new bras and DD needs a couple of summer bits for her school trip next month so fingers crossed I can combine and get some bargains.

Its raining here so i'm putting off doing any washing until tomorrow as it is supposed to be sunny, so I should be able to get everything hung out rather than using the TD.

I also need to get on with some baking and do a shopping list for tomorrow, mainly need pack up stuff.

    Hope everyone is ok.x.
