It's that last minute panic week, we all have it, wondering if we've got enough.
Wrapping paper wise, I always keep a roll of plain gold wrapping paper in stock, covers all occasions - birthdays, Christmas, etc.
Re your Tesco card, I used to have a Sainsburys one and when I closed it they sent me a bill for 6p. I couldn't pay it via bank transfer as the amount was too small, so had to physically go into a bank with 6p and pay it. Caused much mirth and merriment from bank staff
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Had to laugh at the 6p, it probably cost more to print and post the statement.
Good idea about the wrapping paper, I might see if I can pick up some plain silver, red and gold rolls in the sales.0 -
I always underestimate how much wrapping paper I'm going to need Pennywise! Thats a great idea SA re gold, will steal that idea for the future.
Hope you got sorted Pennywise xxMummytogirls x0 -

Morning, feeling a little more relaxed today, things are slowly coming together, although house is still to messy for my liking.
I have so far this morning made the last packed lunches for the last time this year as kids are only in a half day tomorrow (hate making pack ups).
Recycling put out, washing machine and dishwasher both on. Need to light the wood burner once i'm dressed.
Decided to make a donation to Shelter, it breaks my heart that people are living on the streets especially this time of year, wish I could do more though. Everyone deserves to be safe, warm and loved.

Saturday we are visiting relatives to drop off presents and i'm thinking of having a family trip to cinema in the afternoon to watch Paddington 2, I might not tell the kids and just drive us straight from relatives to cinema.
Christmas eve DH is working some of the day, then we are having a Chinese takeaway for tea. I never cook Christmas eve, I like to sit and chill with a glass of vino and think well if we havn't got it tough.
Hope everyone is ok and not to stressed. xx0 -
Well done with cracking on with your list, Penny.
I love your idea of surprising the children with a cinema trip. A couple of weeks ago, we did something similar and the children were so excited.0
