Do you thinking telling him will help?
I know we feel we shouldn't have to but smalls Dad wouldn't take hints about anything! Even if it was something for him. But I definitely think you need to speak to him (bluntly) and put the point across as straight as you can x“Once you hit rock bottom, that's where you perfectly stand; That's your chance of restarting, but restarting the way.”0 -
Sorry to hear DH upset you. I hope you still managed to have a nice day and have gone for the meal out.
Genuinely think you should tell DH how you feel XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I know there are exceptions, but most men just don't think unfortunately unless it's beer or food related.
He should've been more considerate after all you've been through. You need to remind him. I think most of us have been down this road with our OHs to be honest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

I'm with Sun Addict on this, most men don't think about things like relationships or how their partners feel, as long as they are ok and have everything they want.
I wont give more relationship advice as I have asked DH for a divorce:eek:
Must really post on my diary about it.
Hope you managed to go out last night and enjoy your time with friends.0 -
Hope you are ok EE. Hugs XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Many thanks to everyone for kind words and support.
Cut a long story short> we ended up having a blazing row, well more me shouting and telling him so home truths and Dh sitting looking like a rabbit in the headlights, think he realises he messed up, we then sat and talked about the future and what we both want and the fact he has to get a grip and realise he is forty and needs to start saving money etc. We will see what happens!0 -
On to other things.
Feel completely stressed out and I have no idea why, been through Christmas presents this morning, few stocking bits for the kids to get, lindt chocolate for DH, couple of boxes of chocs for friends and MIL/Fil main present which DH needs to ring up and sort out as it is a gift voucher.
I have a pile of paperwork to do and it is really irritating me, yet I can't seem to get the motivation to get on with it, needs doing this evening.
Finances took a hit at the weekend as we went to the big blue Swedish store and spent an absolute fortune, but managed to get all those niggly bits that I always put off buying because there is always something more important to spend the money on, we also had lunch there which pleased the children very much.
Dh dropped off the Christmas tree at lunchtime whilst on his break, kids will be so excited when they come in as I told them it would be Wednesday, so that's their job for the evening, I will just tidy it up a bit tomorrow when they are at school
.
Cant do any washing at the minute as the washer is in the garage and the pipes have frozen, this has never happened before. Have put a little heater in there to heat the room up and hopefully it will defrost the pipes slowly:eek:.
Redeemed 1000 nectar points on Saturday from e-reward$ which are already showing on my nectar card, received £20 N£XT gift card through the post from survey site and a £10 amaz0n voucher code from another
.
Need to sit and do a meal plan/shopping list as decided to do a big shop at Lidl tomorrow as DS has his sports club party and no point in DH coming home for an hour to go back out and pick him up and lidl is next door to the 10 pin bowling place.
Hope everyone is ok and keeping warm xx0
