Tsb classic plus

I have just checked my account today and no interest has been added as yet for the December period. Has anyone else received theirs yet.

Just checked mine. It is not there yet. Suspect it will arrive overnight after first working day after the holidays.

It won't go in until close of business tonight so you will see it in the morning backdated to today.

If it is I'll eat my hat!

It'll be there around midnight tonight, just like it is every month...at the end of the first working day of the month.

Please, not this same question again...... It's cropped up every single month since TSB launched the Classic Plus account. You get the interest at the END of the first WORKING day of the month. It's paid in the early hours of the SECOND WORKING day of the month, i.e. overnight tonight.

With my TSB Classic Plus, it all happens at or soon after midnight: Credits including interest are added to my balance, DDs, SOs and other payments come off.

TSB, Halifax and Lloyds all use the TPS for monthly interest payment.

    Tardy. Payment. System.

They have all been paying, for many years now, exactly on the day the T&Cs say they will be paying at.

It's not the fault of the banks, or the fault of their systems, that people can't read and make up their own little theories on when payments should be made.
