No, that will not help you in any way.

When you enter into an agreement it is up to you to read what you are signing.

You need to stop trying to blame other people and take some responsibility for your own choices.

if u read the very first sentence i state i take full responsibility and not blaming anyone i was just looking for some help not for sharp cocky replies

They are wrong to tell you that you cant cancel.

You can - just not without potentially being liable for losses they incur due to your breach of contract. They do however have a statutory duty to mitigate their losses - by cancelling the order with the manufacturer (although I don't believe they'll have sent it through already - more likely are just telling you that as it sounds better than "no we haven't sent it but far too many people have buyers remorse after purchasing our overpriced crap and we don't want them to cancel") - and 1 hour after ordering, they'd be hard pressed to justify any costs except perhaps a small admin fee.

Another option may be possible though. You say its nearly double what you told the sales rep you could afford? If so, I'd try emailing them and saying that you called 1 hour after ordering to cancel as you read through the documents when you got home and have realised that you have been missold. That you told the sales rep you could only afford x a month but he has signed you up to an agreement costing x per month.

after having no luck on the phone i emailed the customer servicers approx 2 hours after i left store and they still not replied

You may find their CS team did have the weekend/holidays off and it was just their retail staff who were in. Or that they have a bit of a backlog - for some reason xmas is a favourite time for people to get new suites.

The only reason I really said to email rather than phone is so you have proof of when you contacted them to cancel. You can then argue that they have failed to mitigate their losses by refusing to cancel the order when they were fist notified. There is no entitlement to any amount that can be reasonably mitigated/saved.

If you had a particularly lengthy/compllex contract with them then you could even argue that it should come with a cooling off period. Even where not required by statute, a cooling off period can be necessary if a contract is lengthy or complex in order to achieve fairness (consumers cant be bound by terms they had no chance to become acquainted with before the contract became binding).

You really are going to be on your strongest footing if you can possibly argue it was missold though.

    Still not replied?
I'm not really surprised. You contacted them on New years day which was a holiday and as it's now only Sunday, I doubt very much if anyone in customer services will be working until tomorrow.

I don't believe anyone would go to buy a sofa, sit down and sign up for finance and having left the store decide to go back in and see how much it costs. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

This is on a par with the Tesco fuel thread. :T:T:T

You should have asked and also read what you were signing as you've missed it twice

You missed the sofa cost £4600.

You also missed the monthly payments of £90 odd quid a month.
