Stash Busting 2016 - I WILL use my mountains of craftstash before buying more!

My total is now up to 9. Now 11.
I have the repurposed some jars to store sea glass this weekend.
The sewing machine is back together - still not working. Hey ho. I really want to hit it with a hammer. Not that will help it work. Haha
I'm going to sew a few pencil cases with my domestic machine. I think.
I need to get something completed this weekend.
 Everyone's been really busy.
Just managed to cover a shoe box with brown paper and fabric tape. It's for my dress patterns. It's only a temporary measure. I'm also following the kon Mari process. So don't want to buy anything for storage until the end of the process as something may turn up as I go.
All small storage solutions that have been free. But they'll hopefully help me sort the craft room. Also got rid of another bag of rubbish.

Wow! Everyone is so busy - and with such diverse projects.
That cobble rug is so unusual!
Good luck with your continued efforts to fix the sewing machine, nimbo.
I tried to use up my Hunkydory stash and I didn't even make a dent in it!

Hi all, can I join in with you please? I joined in with the 2014 challenge, but didn't stick with it. Circumstances have changed since then: we moved house last June, so I had a serious destash of craft stuff and ended up giving loads away. Still have too much but what I do have it stored away in my craft cabin down the garden! I also have a new passion - upcycling and shabby chic'ing furniture, so I have various pieces waiting to be done and tons of paint! Still haven't finished the dolls houses (in fact I haven't really started them, just keep collecting things for them). And I only have 2 now, one is for my granddaughter when it gets done, it was her mum's when she was a child. The other is a TLC project. I also have various items that I want to do miniature scenes in i.e. a bread bin, a couple of lanterns and a room box.
I am currently working my way through about 4 kilos of wool, knitting squares for a friend who makes them into blankets for the homeless. I also still have a fabric stash, although vastly reduced from what it was. I have loads of ideas for projects and hopefully I'll work my way through them and free up some space in the cabin by the end of the year. Oh yes, and I've got some beads to do jewellery making, but again, haven't made a start on this yet. I'm a great procrastinator!
So, my aim this year is for 600 ... I have pledged to make one knitted square a day, so that takes care of 366 for a start! (I have already made 61 so far this year so will be counting those).
I'll make a few cards too as I still have a little of my card making stuff left, and also some morsbags (www.morsbags.com) as I still have fabric and labels.
So all in all it's going to be another busy year, hopefully I'll get nearer my target than last time, and again, I don't need to buy anything at all!!).
365 knitted squares for Blankets for the Homeless 61/366

200 morsbags (will take my total to 2,000 if I achieve this) 0/200

Well no new makes to declare from me yet since my last post as we are having a "family weekend" but I have to admit to adding to my stash a bit more. I got some new washi tapes and some wooden words yesterday whilst I went into the city but I'm counting that I've failed as I got them using my loyalty points from The Works so they didn't cost me anything and I have a project in mind for them
