Another cape for school, this time for the phonics hero.

Had a bit of an outdoor make, we turned some old scaffold planks into a raised bed edge, need to get that planted up.

Total makes so far this year 102

Wow, you are all barrelling through this challenge! I have repaired a skirt, finished a dress for me, and made a dress for a third world child, which is part of a project being run by our Women's Institute.

Well, today I repurposed something I repurposed last year. Some of you may remember I use a too small favourite t shirt to make a dress for my granddaughter.

The skirt was a bit faded and there were some pen marks on the tshirt but now it's a cushion cover!

I also fixed the hem on my trousers, machine darned DGD's leggings and stitched up worn bits under the arms of two of DH's jumpers (both right underarm only!).

Thank you, Pixie. Well done on getting the dresses done. Is It the "Dress A Girl Around the World" project you're sewing for?

My plans for May are -

    1. Wash beach glass collected at treasure beach - finished. Woo hoo al out away now.

    2. Try to set up printer - carried over from April.

    3. One junk journal - steampunk - underway. I'm apparantly taking it slow.
    4. Cut up brown paper - IKEA completed May.

    5. One sewing project - to be decided - I think it will be a skirt and I have chosen the fabric. Just need to get it started.

It's been a slow month so far. But I'm making a tiny bit of progress.

The most impressive thing I've achieved this month is I've kept my craft room tidy for the full month. It's a small achievement - but one I'm pleased with.

Glad everyone has been pootling on - xxxxxx

nimbo, the only time my craft room is tidy is when I'm not using it!

    Well done Nimbo!

    I wish I had a craft room!
