Made 7 capes this afternoon, 6 just for role play at school and the 7th is a special cape for the star writer of the week to wear.

    I'll post a photo later

99 items completed so far this year all from stash.

I enjoy making stuff and my stash cupboard seems never ended so I'm happy to donate stuff to them.

These are the capes I found a pattern on pintrest so can justify the time I spend looking on there.

  • 1) [STRIKE]Finish lilac baby cardy[/STRIKE]
    2) Finish red baby cardy - about 95% knit, just the button borders to go.
    3) Pastels baby quilt - squares all cut out and planning to sew tomorrow.
    4) Orientals baby quilt - squares all cut also planning to sew tomorrow (Friday).
    5) Finish 'Paradise Island' cross stitch and finish up into a cushion cover for Sir - XS about 65% done, but project on hold whilst I complete 4 others....
    6) Souvenir pillow for J&G's wedding - Design sorted, plan to transfer over w/e and complete most of the stitching next week.
    7) Start making new scatter cushion cover(s) for our cushions which are very yonderly!!! Use one of the Craftsy courses for much of the technique.
    8) A self-designed cross stitch or a freestyle/raised piece for this year's Fayre
    9) Another baby knit to use up odds and ends of yarn (need one 50g ball of white DK) and that will clear me out of yarn stocks.
    10) Some pastel pencil tree frog sketches/studies also for the Fayre (and/or other local events)

I've also discovered that another friend is pregnant and she was interested in a baby knit (although I'd need more yarn for that) and that the groom from #5's kid brother is getting married in October, so there'll be another thing to make there. Don't need to make sitting ring(s) for mum as the District Nurses will get something better in for her.

Actually, I have stacks of things planned and sort of planned for this year, just daren't list them all in case it doesn't work out. :rotfl:

Making some progress anyway :D but labouring under YET ANOTHER cold! That's the 4th since we moved house in mid-Feb.

    Afternoon all
Just completed my 100th make of the year, a rapunzel plait to hang out of the window of the castle turret in the new book corner reading area. It's about 4ft long and quite thick so used a couple,of balls of wool that wouldn't have found another use.
