Evening chums well all went to plan today and tonight's dinner was really nice I found some tomato & chilli chutney in the cupoard and it topped the cabbage and the venison burger beautifully.combined with the sweet pototao and the left over mushroom I had a sort of sweet and sour flavour
Tomorrows dinner will be some fish I think with some more steamed cabbage (blooming huge white cabbage it was)and I have some strawberry yoghurt in the fridge which will do for pud.Not bought anything at all and am doing my best to get through stuff in stock
No mending today but I must take some black thread with me tomorrow afternoon when I go to DDs as Mikey's blazer neeed a small repair I noticed today.DD owns neither a needle or thread as she loathes sewing and I get the repair jobs for all the childrens clothes I take my sewing tin round and the boys just tell me what needs mending:)
Hope everyone has had a good day mmm'ing

Afternoon already! Make do for me was eating up last mini choc pudding that was 2 days out of date for brunch before setting off for aquacise. Yum it was good. Minimise - donated 2 bags of hubby's clothes he had cleared out to good cause.
Mend - my sciatica! Doing all the exercises etc see above too - as directed but is still giving me gip. Had acupuncture yesterday as another treatment and feeling slightly better so let's hope I am back to norm soon.0 -
Hi everyone. Thank goodness it's the weekend:j. I've got the added bonus of it being half term so no work for a week (except my exam papers s:mad:)
Minimise - a great pile of recycling because I was away and missed the last collection. A huge bag of plastic, tins and cardboard - gone.
Make do - left over seafood pasta fir lunch and left over paella for tea. Both tasted no worse for been frozen, defrosted and reheated.
Mend - still nothing but I will get all my clothing repairs done while I'm off as well as decorating the grubby utility room.
Have a good weekend.

Hello MMMers
Haven't posted for a while as really haven't done anything MMM of note, however, love reading along with what everyone else is up. I've still got 2 bags of stuff to go to the charity shop sitting in the flat so that is at the top of my to-do list today. I need to go to the supermarket at some point today so will make up a meal plan and list before I go (AND stick to it)
Still haven't done any mending, I have a little pile that keeps growing so need to get on that. I'm off work for the next 10 days so have plenty of time to get lots of wee jobs that I've been putting off done.
Hope everyone has a lovely dayMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

What lovely weather today, spent most of the day out in the garden pulling up weeds. for tea is indulgent lasagne and salad and I will have enough left over for 5 more meals, so in the freezer they will go. roasted red pepper, garlic and butternut squash soup is made and will be My lunch tomorrow with the leftovers to go in the freezer. Nothing mended yet but I have a few dog toys to sew up tonight. Minimised some old magazines that I have no idea why I have kept them for so long, dated 2013:eek:

Hello folks.
I've been minimising a batch of tomatoes into pasta sauce, three jars actually one I shall give to my sister for giving me the tomatoes, chicken and salad.
If made warm chicken, and bacon salad for tea which was yummy and the only thing I had to pay for was the bacon! So making do with my freebies are hardly a hardship!
I've mended my son's trainers by gluing them with a glue gun....Hope they hold.Living a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

Hi everyone.
The weather has been just lovely so no mending again. I did however get a puncture when I was out on my bike which has been mended but not by me because I'm a bit useless with things like that.
Minimise - got a delivery and took part the boxes immediately and put them in the recycling.
Make do - I got a lovely hardback M&S Thai cookery book for a £1 when Scope had a special price weekend and its brilliant. I made spicy beef noodle soup and prawn laksa with stuff from the freezer including a YS bag of rice noodles that were 10p:money: they were both really nice. Tea was pizza using fridge stuff and the bread maker dough was delicious and so easy so I won't be doing it the hard way again.
Hope you're all enjoying the sun

Morning
Varying levels of MMM here while on holiday.
Last night was a tea of old wrinkled potatoes which I baked with sausages from the freezer which I had brought with us.
Mended - still knitting my way through an Aran jumper for OH. He wanted it for last winter, but I had more pressing things to do so it's been delayed. I only have about 50 rows to go on the back and Then it's just the sewing up to go. Will see if I can get it done for his birthday in July. I am not fast knitter and I can't do this knitting on the train home from work in case I get people with the needles! Commuters aren't always the friendliest people.
Minimised my bank balance - well I had been saving up for treats and we have booked a day trip to Isles of Scilly by plane tomorrow. Oh is so excited and the MMM means we can treat ourselves to memories rather than stuff.
Quiet day out and about today. Leftovers and sandwiches for lunch.
S x£400,000 starting Jan 2020 current end date Aug 2041 I would love the end date to be 2027 but will aim first for 2037.

What a great reason for MMM'ing iamsalt and you will have so much enjoyment from making these memories, especially as they have been achieved buy careful planning
yesterday I did some mending of a small seem that had come undone and was reminded of my late Mum and her 'stitch in time save nine lassie':):) echoing through my head
Made do with the last of the 'country soup that I made from the freebie dried soup mix,had to add some water to it as it had almost set !!!
Minimised some paperwork that had been hanging around ,thank the lord for recycling bags
Today I am probably going to Westgate for a walk along the front with my DD,dgs & dogs all being that the sun comes up a bit brighter at least.
Have a good day everyone what ever you are doing

Today I mended five pairs of girl's tights, two cardies, one pair of pants. We used up an ood pack of raspberry cupcake mix (we all agreed my scratch cup cakes were ten times better! Especially the ginger, yum). Girls did crafts with the bits and bobs I collected over the years. I think I will be able to fit the craft stuff into just one plastic lidded box after one more afternoon of crafting (it is currently in two). Weeded a bit in the flower and strawberry beds, went through dds' T-shirts and took out about ten from both boxes (konmarie method). dh ironed for about an hour and gave the first floor a thorough clean, now the vacuum cleaner motor is burned
, I told him to empty the bagless compartment more often! That is the third vacuum cleaner he has killed in eight years..... So, I am minimizing, but not quite in the intended way!
