    Good morning lovely ladies

Up with the larks this morning, off to my Gps in a mi ute for results of all those tests:eek:

Ellsbel - you are rifght - we are our own worst critics. Time we started "bigging ourselves up a bit"......you sound very positive and upbeat this morning.:D

Mary - good to see the 5:2 is working g so well for you and thanks for the tip about M&S Count On Me range. What an excellent idea. If you don't mind I think I will copy your idea, not to use every week but perhaps to get me started and maybe have a couple in the freezer on standby for "emergencies" or cba days.

I've still not started my5:2 but I have tried to be a bit more mindful of portion sizes and have more or less stuck to the paleo except for Monday when for some obscure reason I fell victim to a full on carb Fest. WHat was that about...... :rotfl:

At least nowadays when I fall off the wagon I don't stress about it. Rather than letting it sabotage my good habits I just put it down to a blip and then resume normal service next day.

Need to get down to some serious tidying up later, DS2 cleaned through yesterday but then decided to Kondo his room. Yaaaaay.

There's stuff all over the place, a lot of it for the chazza so I'll pack it all up later and then load the car ready for drop off when passing. It will at least be out of the house. Bless him he has done really well, he must half discarded at least half his wardrobe.

Apparently he is joining me on my quest for minimalism and simplicity.

Not weighed myself but I definitely feel trimmer - especially round the waist so hopefully I'm starting to shift some of the dreaded belly fat. Will get the tape measure out later.

I have a large onttoman at the end of my bed which I am steadily emptying. Hopefully I can finish that later and then dismantle it. I can then have a private yoga/meditation space in my bedroom rather than having to shift the coffee table in the lounge every time.

And I really must start using my elliptical trainer more regularly. :o

Have a great day everyone. Looks a bit chilly out there.......

    Roll on summer.

Ps I love my Jackie O Sunglasses.......they make me feel like I'm an incognito movie star. Lol.

    Grrrrrrr:mad::mad:

    One step forward, two back.

Good news - blood sugars down so the Paleo protocol is working.

Bad news - the orangutan is back, big time. Just wrenched my back, sitting here with a ice pack on it. I'm thoroughly fed up.

Can I have a new body :rotfl:

Ellsbel so glad to hear you decided to treat yourself to the Jackie O Sunglasses as they are bringing you joy already :j

I am still keeping to my much healthier eating and will start exercising today as I will not be working for a few weeks as my job is term time only, so I will not get any exercise via work. I will return to my Rosemary Conley Salsercise video in my Sitting Room to keep the inches coming off and the body toning continuous. I will also be able to go out to Karaoke and dancing more when I am not working. :)

I am also visiting my sisters in Birmingham from next Tuesday for 6 days and will have 2 nights of dancing out in Birmingham. I will also get the chance to visit my newest great Niece, who is a really beautiful baby. :T

Hi everyone, finally have some time to post. I'm in for 'Operation Me' please. I need to tone and shift a little bit more.

Fitness videos on you tube - worth looking for the 'spark people' ones. Nicely explained and the demonstrator looks human rather than a spray tanned Barrie doll.

My knees simply can't take it now but I used to like the Janice Battersby weight off workout dvd which worked well for someone with no rhythm.

I have been ill for a few days and realised today how gray and tired I look. Time for a spot of pamper, as soon as I am well enough to do so.

Try a spray of perfume hex that'll cheer you up a bit.

You seem to be out and about a lot lately sugarbaby. Well done you!

I'm away from Friday until Tuesday. I need to plan what I want to take with me as the weather's due to take a turn for the worse:(. I meant to buy a few new bits and pieces as my favourites are a getting bit well worn but when I've been in the shops nothing's really grabbed me. I plan to get my nails done tomorrow so maybe I'll take a look then.

Thanks Maman, I ran out a few weeks ago. Have some arriving today hopefully. I stopped wearing it when I was a stay at home mum and now i am not sure what to buy but Cerruti was a bargain yesterday so I ordered it. Trouble is you can only test one at a time and I rarely go to anywhere that sells it. I had been using Estee Lauder samples up but wasn't that keen on either Pleasures or Beautiful.

I did a peel off face pack yesterday which has helped with the grey and flaky. I may try and dye my hair today. Also grey and flaky after a few days of too ill to wash it, roots were already bad. I have a choice of 3 colours in the house so no excuses other than energy. It's naturally brown but is currently a darkish red. I have more of the dark red, a honey blonde (for dark hair) and a brown that is close to my natural colour. I'm nervous of the honey one leaving me with orange hair. I'm getting quite grey now sadly.

On the positive side I have lost several pounds this week as a result, a kick start for getting things back under control.

Hope your back's a bit better LL
sugarbaby well done on keeping up the exercise:)
Hope you enjoy your weekend away maman - I'm looking forward to wearing the shades; doesn't look like I'll be debuting them today though as its decidedly grey here!
Hex I hope you can get round to colouring your hair and that it gives you a lift. Hope the perfume turns up too.
I've been finding lately than not many perfumes "last" on me. My Clarins one does but most of my others seem to wear off very quickly. Not that I want to overpower anyone, but I think I need to find a signature scent that's a little more distinctive than the ones I've been wearing; I may need to go back to Coco Chanel - bit pricey though!
I'm showered moisturised and relatively put together today but all errands are done and there's not much else on the agenda, other than supplying endless food and cuppas for my boys:rotfl:
    I need to find a hobby:D
Actually I've promised myself a trip to London after Easter to visit the portrait gallery. I'm going to be brave and go it alone, as no one else really shares my love of art and history!

Have a very lovely weekend everyone:)

That's a real silver lining hex.:) Hope you feel up to a bit of pampering soon. I'm sure you'll feel better for it.

I've got a bottle of Beautiful in the cupboard. I used to love it but I think my tastes have changed.

My roots were looking a bit dark so I've been using the John Frieda highlight spray. It's quite effective and hopefully will see me through until my next cut.

Go for it ellsbel! I love galleries. I'm not massively knowledgeable about art but I find them such restful places and looking at the paintings has a lovely calming effect. When I was in the Wallace collection last week there was someone giving a talk to a school group about symbolism. I eavesdropped for as long as I could;).

I had my nails done this morning in a dark red. When I was in Sainsbury's (25% off in Tu) I bought myself a pair of jeans, a denim skirt and some jogging trousers. I've brought them home to try on so will report back whether they're staying.

DD1 will be around in a minute to borrow a large suitcase as she's off to NYC on Sunday for a week. Back soon.:)

    Hello all..

Hex well done on weight loss :)

Ellsbell I love wandering on. Days myself having sometime out enjoy it & new sunglasses I love my huge ones too.

maman enjoy your weekend & LL hope tests results are positive, I like the idea of meditation space in your bedroom...

Things are ok here, I'm 3 weeks into medication and feeling ok but not great yet.. I have also pulled a muscle in my back. Very sore so I haven't been aT the gym either. So I've allowed my eating to slip with a what's the point attitude.. Time to get that in check :(

Off on a weeks holiday now and my birthday on Monday so looking forward to some nice time with oh. Hoping some time away from work will be good for the soul. Have done a little clearing out of the utility room and this has started some clearing out. I have a few other things in my sights for clearing out my rooms in the house before some actual spring cleaning... It's time to get the Windows thrown open and the cleaning done.... Well theoretically till it gets a bit warmer lol!!

I got a nice top out of the marks and Spencer's outlet her from autograph range for £6 it white with some blue & grey water style flowers on it-I love it:T oh and some new pants too :rotfl:

Hoping to do some pampering this week too some nice baths and facials... Get on the facial massage too... Feet could do with a little perk up for the brighter weather too.

Anyway I'm in bed for a bit of a mess about on tinternet and then off too sleep I think for early night- I plan to catch up on sleep too.

    Hope everyone is well

Hello ladies, I have lost 3 more pounds in weight. It is slower going already because I am not at work, but I am really pleased at any weight loss.

I got a free ticket to see Jackie The Musical at The Churchill Theatre worth £35. It was an absolutely fabulous show. I was dancing in my seat and singing along. At the end of the show the cast invited us all to stand up and dance and sing along to a few more songs and I did not need telling twice. :T As the Churchill Theatre is in Bromley, this was a new experience for me as it was my first visit to this theatre and my first visit to Bromley. It was such a lovely day out for me. :j

I was wearing my purple velour Autograph skirt with my black sleeveless top and my black Kaleidoscope cardigan with silver and purple jewellery. I wore my black leather boots and black leather gloves, black long scarf and black hat. I had my black leather handbag that I use everyday and wore my stainless steel Ingersoll diamond watch. I was very generous with the perfume to make sure it would be strong at the end of the day and painted my nails with clear polish. I did feel really confident today. :)

Catching up on TV programmes I recorded this evening and taking time for myself to relax before going to bed hopefully to get more than 6 hours sleep.
