I get page not responding on that- is it live chat?

I might try them tomorrow. I've already decided to send a 'report' buyer' email every day for a week. It won't help but it makes me feel better !

It's a request form for feedback abuse. I've used it quite a few times to have unfair feedback removed, either negative neutral or positive with low DSR

    Trying again:

Thank you, I'm going to have another bash at it tomorrow.

When you click, it gets redirect. I think it may have to be typed, old style rather than pasted…..I have it bookmarked and the link does the same to me.

I feel your pain. I really do.

We have had our first negative from a brand new eBayer - bought a personalised item from us and left negative saying it had not arrived after a few days (it was christmas rush time) and THEN opened a case - so no contact nothing before leaving the negative.

I explained the item was sent recorded delivery and that it is showing as 'in transit' - (which it still is 14 days later). I also explained 1st class can take a few days at christmas.

I think that she has just not collected it from delivery office out of protest. I frank all my mail and I am sure its going to come back to me. I can raise a trace on it in a few days.

ebay told me its fair feedback to leave because ' she hasn't received the item'

I also have a neutral for an item taking over a week 2nd class at christmas.

My postage at christmas woes continue....

  • I know it's a matter of pride to have no negative feedback, but as a buyer I'd look at someone's feedback and if the majority is positive with the odd negative, it really wouldn't put me off using you.

As theonlywayisup says you are covered if POP shows item was sent within 7 days to the address paypal gave you. Keep your eye on this one- make sure your POP uploaded properly (I once uploaded one and it disappeared from the dispute console!)- start phoning paypal after a few days to remind them you have full seller protection.

I haven't lost one of these fraudulent claims yet.

    Thanks for your advice

How do I phone PayPal and manage to speak to a human being? I've rung their 0800 number and keyed in the info they want but they simply say (by automation) that the claim is under review and no further action is required by me. Is there any way I can chivy this along? How long do these things usually take. I would like access to my money!

(Oh and sorry for hijacking the thread, just thought it would be better to keep the info together rather than starting a new one)

That link works well, I use it all the time. Much better than calling ebay CS.

I know I don't sell as much as you Soolin but when I got my first neg after 1500 feedback I was angry. More so it was for a collect item that was never collected and eBay were not interested. TBH it has not really affected me but just annoying.

Sorry I can't offer any practical advice but am sympathetic to your cause.

I have been crafting a follow up to the feedback and think I have something that doesn't break the rules- but highlights what an idiot buyer is- I sometimes think leaving a neg can harm a buyer almost as much as it does the seller- and I'm going to make sure my follow up hits where it hurts- without breaking the rules.

Take it you mean Neg reply to feedback and Neg comment on buyers feedback - I'm right in the middle of drafting up the very same - can I get a copy?
