Slinky I bought the almond flour from Holland n Barratt (sp?). I am not sure if you could use ground almonds if you blitzed in coffee grinder first.I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.0

I always use ground almonds for almond flour.
Took out a bag of food for the food bank and sorted the washing basket for odd socks - only me here and there are still odd ones!
I have a charity shop bag always on the go, once in there it can never return! It presently has 'past it' summer stuff in and a couple of tops that definitely don't spark joy, not sure why I bought them really but is a good lesson for future buying.0 -
I've just had an impromptu kondoing session - one of our neighbours invited us to his 50th party tonight, and I did the female "what am I going to wear?!" panic. As a result, three "kept for going out" tops have gone out for ever, along with a stretch lace dress & a pair of boots that had evaded earlier culls!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Couldn't put it down as I wanted to know what had happened -it was one of those that starts 3/4 n goes back six months to fill in upto that point then go on to tie up loose ends. Good read but slightly out of my comfort zone as to where I thought the story would end up.
Snap - Just finished reading that very book last month! Borrowed the hardback from the library - being very MSEA good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

Evening all.
Well, I'm at the parental home and wasn't intending to go online this evening but Dad fired up the pooter to look up some stuff and then went to watch telly so I decided to check in with MSE.
Have been back about 3 hours and have sorted through a pile of fabrics from Nan's and nothing floats my boat, so that will all go chazzerwards. Have also washed some plastics and cleaned up some housewares.
There are a few things of the cookware line which I think aren't quite good enough for the chazzers so will look at freegling them.
There is still a fair bit of Stuff from Nan's bungalow around the place, but it is much improved upon where we were this time two weeks ago.
Plan for tomorrow is to sort out Mum's own crockery, her stated intention is to bring a set of Nan's crockery into daily use and then release some of her own. I figure about 70 % of the everyday crockery is surplus to requirements (90 % if you count fancypants crockery in sideboards etc) but we will work on the things which are in the way of everyday life first.
The bed which I will need to clear in order to sleep contains; 2 extra duvets, a linen basket of Nan's, a bag of fabric, a CD player, a framed needlepoint picture and some Misc. There is also a bag of household textiles, a tea tray, a new loo seat (boxed) and a microwave oven plus six crates of books ans a cone of yarn on the floor. And the other CD player.
This room is 7 ft x 9 ft btw............. :eek:Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Sounds as if you'll have to burrow through it and make a nest...0

GQ Hope that you managed to get to bed safely. Don't do yourself an injury by falling over the stuff in the middle of the night!A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot, and realise how blessed you are.

And mine, but I had to kondo mine when I found carpet moth  cue pretty much everything going - all the clutter, the stored duvets and sleeping bags, carpet, wardrobe even (the pesky things had burrowed into knot holes in the back). That room is now kept extremely clear..... We were literally throwing stuff out of the window so that we didn't walk them through the house...(not the wardrobe, I hasten to add :rotfl:I wanna be in the room where it happens0
