:)mrs-moneypenny, is it possible that you decanted the buttons into another container, or put the bucket itself into another receptacle, forgot you did that and are looking for the bucket and thus not 'seeing' it? I mention it because I've done similar, and so has Mum.

I expect the shredder has had a burned-out motor, that seems to be what kills these devices.

I've done that sooo many times ... been absolutely sure something was in a specific box or bag, looked everywhere for it and then found it was in something completely different!

It's not the fuse, could be a loose wire or something- I too suspect the motor GQ, but it didn't expire in action, it was put away as a friend came to stay and the 'office' is also my spare room. On the bright side, at least I know where the receipt will be! I might just start putting confidential stuff in the bag when I empty the cat litter tray. Ain't nobody going to get that out and go through it! :rotfl:

    Hi All :D

The baby bunnies are on the front garden along with 2 Witches of Eastwick (2 chickens that fly the fence everyday ) to eat the wild bird food,Along with the dog who has no problem with Chickens or Bunnies but will chase cats.
So all the creatures are well apart so I think the bunnies will grow to adult as they are now a bit big for the Crows or Magpies.
We do have Red Kites here but the chickens kick off and let you know when they are around :D So I think they cant stand the noise so fly off :D Same as the Buzzards they dont hang around long either.

When I went down to feed Lolly,The Mum cat was there with all 5 kittens playing around they are so pretty.Mum is a battered light coloured tabby who is blind in one eye.She is tiny and looks totally worn out.
Also the last couple of days I have seen a big Ginger cat (male) ! most likely waiting for his chance with her I would think.

It is a nightmare really just wanting to do whats right for this lot :( Before it really gets out of control (like its not already):rotfl:

But Lolly is ok and getting bigger and hiding from me quicker :rotfl:So is feeling ok I think apart from the other 6 cats and the Big Ginger one hanging round outside !

    Mav x

I haven't done much the past few days as I've been so shocked by the Leave result! I won't get into that subject on this thread.:D I'm sure most of us have heard and read enough about that.

I was in bed last night watching a film and at the advert breaks getting up and pottering around tidying up and looking for stuff to declutter. I can't be the only person who does that although my hubbie thinks it's strange, lol.

I have thought about 'kondoing' my British passport and with it the British part of my dual nationality......feel it is the least I can do:o I have EU citizenship and a European nationality which has always been a stronger influence in my life. Nothing changes for me just the cost of one passport for renewal;)

I use the ad breaks to 'catch up' with stuff - usually emptying DW, taking recycling out etc:rotfl::rotfl:

I took a small bag to CS last week. Its all been a bit slow here but a catch up on the board means I have got the kick up the behind I needed........especially all the sentimental paperwork chat. Thanks konodites :D

Good luck with that lot Mavvy! Any chance of catching the ginger male?

This morning I refolded my pants. My parents are staying here for three weeks, and my mum does the laundry and ironing, while dad does some gardening and fixing minor issues (replacing foot pedal on a lamp and such). I love it that they step in and help, and gladly redo anything not to my liking, waiting until they have left again. Mum is 80 and dad almost 75, and I'm really happy and grateful that they feel up to coming and staying and looking after my dds, who are 8 and 5.

I just let them rearrange my household to their liking, and put everything back where I want it after they have gone home again. With a kondoed household, that's not hard to do.

I kondo'd a few hours with my friends at the posh pub nearby. We had a lovely time catching up, laughing at life's humour, worrying about the bizarre political siuation we find ourselves in (you couldn't make it up, could you), and generally enjoying the food and the company.
After a fab salad the coffee was served with a delish handmade shortbread biscuit...... No biscuits for me on the low carb regime so I wrapped it up to bring home for DH. Then, because we had lots to talk about, we ordered more coffees and more biscuits were supplied. My friends decided that they too would donate the bickies to my DH. I am dreading the resultant sugar rush when he eats them tonight :rotfl:

Very minor kondo-ing of newly emptied washing liquid container, some komono from handbag, and a skirt to go to CS - I haven't worn it since I left my office job and thanks to low carbs I could put it on without undoing the button or zip. Yay!
Consequently I re-visited some other 'too small' clothes that I had tucked away neatly and found several items that now look fine and a couple of things that will be fine in about a month's time.

This has spurred me on again :D

I do think MK changes your mindset. Previously I wouuld have lost heart because I would just see my past mistakes (putting onweight or buying something unnecessary, etc etc), whereas now I see the achievements - many tidy categories and a loss of over a stone. A good basis for future successes not a demonstration of past failings! Long live MK :T
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.
