Karmakat - more holey than righteous!
Damp grey day so will make my friends cushion covers for her & maybe do some description of stuff for Fleabay. DH has a video camera unused for the last 10/15 years so I've charged the battery & if it's working I'll see if I can get that on there & that will be some more carp gone.
Have a good day all x

Hello everyone, what is the best way to get rid of Ethernet cables, printer, telephone and two pin cables. I have a boxful in my office.
  • HI katsclaws, there is a recycling centre near me that accepts cables, as well as weird things like alloy wheels, one of which I plan to take there next weeks. I'm assuming they sell the metal?
I would try freecycle etc first though, someone might want them!

Peter May book and a dress gone in the CS bag. GQ I bless you for your comments on an exit strategy as I now turn the various charity bags that come through the door inside out and use them for re-donating. It takes a second just to pop an item there and that's more carp gone - woo hoo!!

Sorry you're not feeling good, MrsMP - but I need you to tell me about religious socks, when you have a chance ;)

    They are the Holey ones.;)

I'll be ok soon thanks, I've well passed childbearing age but mother nature still insists on visiting me regularly and is getting heavier and more demanding with each visit :o I've been assured that it means my bones will stay much stronger for longer as I've still got lots of eastrogen but to be honest I'm fed up with her visits now.

I'd go crazy if I still had to deal with that too! I've been told I have strong bones too - a tooth cracked (I grind them :( ) and the dentist had a huge struggle to get the pieces out :o

Ouch, Mrs-moneypenny, hope you feel better soon.

Busy week here - had to be out each day before 9 and not home till 5, not much chance to kondo as too tired when getting home. But (and this has been a joy) I have been able to select different outfits for each day very easily and efficiently - and this is due entirely to my semi-kondoed wardrobe. More work needed on it yet, but it is functioning a lot better than for many years in that I know where everything is, and don't have to sift through dozens of unwanted things to get at the items I actually like. This alone has saved a lot of stress this week...

Me too! Just the smalls drawer is a pleasure to deal with. No more flinging out unmatching stockings, rooting for the right bra etc. All are neatly rolled or folded, coralled in their alloted space in a single layer in the drawer and I can see at a glance what is there. May sound crazy to non-Kondoites but it really makes a difference and the day starts calmly rather than with me having a hissy fit! :D

Am away from home for a few days so no kondo-ing but boy are there some things here that are getting on my nerves :( Dusty silk flowers from the year dot, a tall pile of boxed games on top of wall shelves, sort of towering menacingly..... I justswant to fling them in a bag for CS!

On a positive note we are having great weather and I seem to have packed just right, not too much, not too little (easy to choose clothing etc from my kondo'd range!).

Friends came to visit, although they had been at work all day. We had a lovely bbq and an even lovelier walk. The scenery is beautiful, the sun shone and there's not many places that can beat the UK in the sunshine!

    Happy days:D
I have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.
