DH has a terminal illness, so whereever we end up in five years has to suit the both of us.
Does that make sense?Update on Little Lolly she is holding up breathing not great but I am hoping the antibiotics will do there stuff as she is on them until Thursday evening. If she is not clear by then then I will take her back to the vets on Friday.
But she is eating us out of house and home so she must be feeling better in herself. She is now up to 3  pouches a day on the vets advice. and is licking every plate cleanShe eats really oddly but I think thats as she is so snuffly (sp)
All the roads are flooded here  I havent seen rain like that for years but now bright sunshine and really lovely I wish this weather would make up its mind as to what its going to do.Save2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

They were being kept for Justin, apparently.

GQ I don't know why but your story about the false teeth and things people have kept reminds me of a lady I met on holiday about 18 months ago. She had had a mastectomy. Her late mother had also had one. Fortunately she had inherited her mum's false t i t and so when it happened to her, was able to indulge in a very odd form of recycling!
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Slinky, that is too funny!!!! Gallygirl, you too!!Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Think about your transport links, whether you would like rural, urban or mixed. Hospital / health care is important too - there are lots of excellent specialist centres around here, and holistic care for both of you too. The pace of life is gentler, the landscapes are incredible, and in lots of beautiful areas homes are cheaper too2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I've got a much freer day than I thought today, so I'm going through my to-get-rid-of books on Amazon, seeing what's worth selling, and what can just go to a charity shop straight away. Lots of books that were very dear to me at the time (two about crop circles, for instance, bought before the internet, when the only way to know about minority interests was to buy a book) - they're going for a penny on Amazon, there's no chance of making a profit with that.
So my brain is fizzing a little bit about the sunk cost - doesn't matter, though, does it! They're going.
At the other extreme, somebody's laundering cash or something - a book I bought while I was in the US about fan art is going for £1000 something! Er, no! Thats not going to happenits quite funny to look at though

Evening all.
Karmakat, my kid brother is an online bookseller. Books on fantasy type art and books on the making of movies, particularly cult movies, are usually worth a few tens. Some are worth hundreds to the right person.
The market decides the price, not the seller. You can price things at whatever you like, online or in a terrestrial shop, but unless you can find a buyer at that price, it's just wishful thinking.
I'd suggest checking Amazone and abebooks and seeing if there are any others, and if the condition in comparable, then undercutting the cheapest comparable offering a bit. You never know, you may get a bite.
Sez she, whose £5 chazzer book sold for just under £400. Ya don't ask, ya don't get.
Went to work, came home briefly, then up to the allotment. Have decluttered lots of brambles and nettles which were encroaching into my plot from other people's plots and took two IKEYA blue bags of them to the tip. Looking a bit tidier up there but plenty more carp to be spirited away.
I have kondo'd some strawberries off the plants, it was a tough job but someone had to do it, I reckon.
Keep on keeping on, lovely peeps. GQ xxEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

I'll give it a go, then, GQ - £400, you say
I really, really wouldn't sneeze at that

I bought the allotment shed with the proceeds after sharing the windfall with my brother as we were using his paid-for Amazone bookseller account.
