Wow Floss, I'm impressed you're picking strawberries. Ours are very late, I think it'll be at least a week before we get the odd one starting to turn pink.

At last I've managed to kondo something. Went in OH's office this morning and spotted an old file of my early customer contacts from over 10 years ago. Have been shredded this morning.

Washing is just about up to date now (will stick towels in this morning), but I've got 3 baskets to sort through, put away or add to the growing ironing pile........

Suitcases still on the floor in the spare room with non-clothing stuff to be put away. Will get to them eventually but I'm not going to bust a gut doing so. Generally it takes about a month after our holidays for things to return completely to normal round here, even though I was pretty up to date with things before we went away.

Productive day yesterday - 3 loads of washing line dried and all put away. Patio slabs round the shed and greenhouse power washed. I've a bit more to finish today because I needed to wait for the water to soak away. I'm also going to sort out a window box that I think has got weevils in it :(
I've pruned loads of shrubs that have finished flowering so the garden is beginning to look a bit cared for and the garden bin is stuffed full.
I've had a LBM - I've cleared a double chest of drawers and it would be more convenient to use a drawer for my yoga gear instead of an underbed drawer that I could use for my odd hand towels. That will be a little job for when the weather changes.
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

I have to work out where to keep my running and yoga stuff silvasava. I moved the CoD that they were in on the landing into the sitting room and it isn't terribly convenient! But I don't want to clutter upstairs with excess furniture. So it might be my office (will move fabric into sitting room) or possibly the spare room (and the towels and bedding for that room can go in the underbed drawers).

The other spare room still needs work when it comes to storage. As does my bedroom. But it has to be right, not something that will just do and make it feel cluttered again.

Just had words with someone ringing to tell me he was from Windows and he need access to my computer to rid it of a dangerous virus. I asked how he could sleep at night and said I hoped karma paid him back for trying such a deceitful scam on people. He told me I was the one who shouldn't sleep at night and I was very rude and stupid. He finially hung up after I ignored him for a while.
Im half expecting him to ring back once he's thought of a suitable put down.

Just taken bag of stuff down the clothes bank, and got a carrier bag of bits to take into school with me now. Got a couple of shopping bags filling with bits to take over dd1 & dd2 at the weekend.
    Started another CS bag.

Looking forward to tonight just had a small jiffy from our godDD she got married in newzealand recently we were invited but couldn't afford to go. The jiffy contains a letter and a memory stick of photos, I'll wait till Dh gets home tonight and we'll share the joy with a small glass to toast them.

Awww! I've been sending out CDs this week of my nephew's wedding, to family that couldn't make it (and photos of very old family weddings, including one from 1903, for the couple getting married later this month) - its a lovely thing :)

I know - then again I didn't want the other one they were discussing to leave either!

We have a perfect put down for them, "Really?, how interesting!, you do know we haven't got Windows as we run our computers on Unix?", there is generally a long silence followed by the phone going down :rotfl:
