Finished pens and notebooks today, oh and smellies. I vow to use up all my hotel freebies before I buy anymore. Also filled the rubbish bin up, they only emptied it yesterday, 10 days until next collection whoops .

I made a real conscious effort to use up my hotel toiletries last year - refilled soap dispenser bottles with them and used shampoos as shower gel. Donated all my body lotions, though, as I have way more than enough full sized ones in smells which I actually like :D I did donate some of the bars of soap, too to Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes but kept some to make laundry gloop with :)

True to his word, the shirts and Tshirts that we "Magically tidied" and have been thanked, are now in the charity shop, ready for them to be loved by someone else.:D

Not even a hint of "shall I keep this, just in case"...
    they went:rotfl::rotfl:

Had to catch up with some work magazine reading today and applied the "DGAF" Principles from the article.

Worked a treat, read five magazines in record time and don't regret what I skimmed.

I am in the process of kondoing DD back to uni. And all her carp :p

:D Just stuck some totally random carp on freegle, will wait and see if there any lunatics who would be willing to bite my hands off to take these things away from me. Fingers crossed!

Doesn't getting rid of Stuff responsibly take a bit of time?

I have also decided to get rid of four cereal bowls to the chazzer. I only have these because they came with the rest of the set. I don't actually eat cereal, nor do I like their shape, I just kept them because they matched the big plates and the small plates.

:oDoh. And I keep bypassing them to use the three non-matching, non-cereal bowls for when I have porridge or soup. And I realised that if anything happened to my favourite bowl, which has been in daily use since 2001, I should be replacing it with another joyful one of the same shape.

And to think an unconvential person like me was worried that in the unlikely even I entertain four or more people for a meal involving bowls in this micro-flat, that I'd be socially-shamed to have only a choice of the favourite bowl, the plastic camping bowl and the enamel camping bowl.

Hell, I have decided life is too short to give an Eff about such things. I have some paper platery and dishery if it gets really bad and for anything else there's Wevverspoons...........

Don't forget that there's always the option of a Tupperware(type) tub to fall back on, too - I've been known to serve things up in those to save on washing up :):p

:j Yess, I have two tubbyware bowls, and a lock&lock bowl, and the pyrex pudding basins. I could feed a dozen people (well, in theory, they'd be sitting outside as no room inside).

See, there are no problems, only unconventional solutions.:p

You lot are hilarious! Thanks for brightening my unexpectedly stressy day (nothing major just a lack of support when I needed a bit of assistance - domestic!! ).

Interesting comments on gtech. Have thought about encouraging elderly neighbour to consider getting one but have no idea if they actually vac up effectively.

Keep up the cheery work M

Is the gtech any good with lifting pet hair. I've finally got a Hoover that actually lifts the hair but it is a bit heavy, well that's my excuse when I get my son to hoover the stairs :rotfl:
