It's snowing here and my housework is up to date so thought I would venture up to the loft to sort suitcases and bags. We don't holiday with the car anymore and usually go by train so weekend bags and suit carriers etc don't get used now. I kept the pull along suitcases in different sizes and the rest will go on freegle. Searched them to see if there was any treasure in them and to take off address labels. No fivers ha but found a packet of wildflower seeds no date on them but it names the university one my sons attended and he is now 40 - will plant them when the snow goes off and wait with anticipation to see what grows;)0

I have thrown away about 25 empty binders, which were made especially for a certain company event. I have re-used them several times, but they were not joyful anymore.
At home, I slept two very long nights (8-8 on Saturday night and 8-7 on Sunday night) and I've kondoed some tiredness. This cold weather, together with hayfever, is wearing me out!Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.590 -
OH and I both got up late this morning, what then became a short morning was supposed to be set aside for pampering MM, as I am feeling a bit washed out and need to rev myself up for an Osteopath appt later, but a quick trip upstairs to the stationery drawer in search of post it notes revealed a handful of Komono in the drawer, now binned or rehomed:D but that inspired me to sort out the small wicker basket in the SR that holds birthday cards, correspondence cards and the stapler etc., etc., that led to me tackling the pen and pencil pots. 6 or so dead pens in bin, another batch to take to CS as they seem to walk from by the till, all pencils (I love pencils:D:D) sharpened and 3 duff sharpeners ditched. All very low key stuff, but it has given me a bit of a boost, so almost ready for a rather shorter pampering session.
I have always been a little untidy, take after my Ma:(, but I am loving the areas and categories that I have Kondoed. Must get on and finish the new book later, it has to be returned to the library by Friday as there is a long queue for it.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Got gift aid letter from the chasser today they've made £65.50 from our tat since the last letter.
Dd1 has just been laughing at me when I said I'd just cleared all the paper out, her response was to question why I'd been hanging onto it all for this long, I've kondoed about 30 years worth of letters that I'd been hanging onto. That's what was in all those box files I've cleared out.SPC~12 ot 124

Hooray! Finally got DH to release a very old sit-up bench :T He's had it ages, it collapsed once and cut my brand new vinyl flooring , it's been shuffled round our little house for a couple of years unused, so I have alwys hated it. I took it to the recycling centre this morning so he had no time to change his mind
i also recycled some cardboard from a sort out of boxes we'd been keeping for Justin
Finally found suitcase to replace the one that bust a while ago so old one will make it's way out on Weds.
Now I really need DH to release some tshirts and some of the many mugs we have for, er, TWO of us! Wish me luck.

A while ago on Len Goodmans 'Holiday of a life time' programme I saw a lovely Man selling Pie and Peas on Yarmouth market. His family has been making and selling them for like a 100 years or something like that
So yesterday we went and sampled his waresWell what a lovely time we had was there for about an hour chatting to him. He never watches Telly so had never seen the programme but now has people from all over the country visiting :rotfl:Such joy was had and all for 90p for just peas for me
He got a '10 from Len' and also a 10 from us
DH has been looking for ages for a 'joyful' Watch and found the one yesterday and he said it brings him joyand he already has it on this Morning.
Fen that is a really difficult one all I can say is yes you are on the train and starting the journey. But it sounds like you will be doing it on your own to start with. But if you can change the way you deal with things your Husband may see you are changing and moving on and may decide to jump on the train with youThe ladies Husband on TV did so it can happen
I think if we change people around us often do we rub off on them so to speak.
I am not the same person after starting this journey and I am sure many of us are no longer the same.
Can you get out for a coffee with a friend ? Or a walk or does your health stop you from doing these things ? The worst thing is being stuck in a house which you dont like 24/7 So try and change 'You' in a very small way and it will snowball I promise.

I've realised that all the postcards I've been collecting over the years, of places I've been, can be scanned and sent on their way - they were bought because I liked the images, and I use my laptop for things like that now, I have for years. Result2023: the year I get to buy a car0

I am using up a bag of epsom salts I had forgotten I left in the airing cupboard. I bought it because I was getting sore legs at night, but after taking a calcium and magnesium supplement my legs are better. I pour a huge handful in the bath so they should be used up in the next fortnight.:)
I tried on a blouse today and realised it is too tight! I'm trying to kondo some weight so I will keep it for a month and then see how it fits.;)
I made a lentil and sweetcorn soup yesterday to try and use up fridge veg and to be healthy, but it wasn't up to much. I will whizz it up with a lot more seasoning and have that for lunch. It's cold here today! Doesn't seem like it should be soup weather near the end of April.0
