Awake at 5.30am, got up so Not to wake Mr D. Been busy listing on ebay. Have a couple of items ending this afternoon, one is a collection only, hope they do collect, still waiting for the winner of my last collect only to answer my messages. :(

Will be spending the day at home today, on call for work so wouldn't be able to go to far. Plan is cleaning, menu plan for next week, shopping list. Mr D is going to going to make a start painting the hall, loads of paint in the shed so no spend.

Also need to find kindle and list.

    Pay day yesterday.

All bills and DD's accounted for. Grocery and petrol money for the month moved over to other bank account. Made a payment of £175.00 to Argos. Have another £34.00 to pay next week. My goal is to pay the remaining £141.00 by the 14th of next month. Have an iphone and a kindle I am going to sell, hopefully make £100.00 and the rest from eBay, I hope.

    .
:T - well done on paying such a large amount to Argos.

I have every belief that you will be able to clear it by 14/2

Hope the ebay buyers contact you to get their items - nothing more annoying than waiting around.

    Have a good Sunday
  • Your Argos will be gone soon Doris. You are doing well. It just goes to show that with budgeting and organisation you can make a difference.

However big or small the payments are it soon reduces the overall debt total. :T

    Keep going Doris :D

Thank you EE and 12MC, Argos will definitely be gone by Feb.:)

Toady I have made two balance transfers, offered 21 months 0% and 1.5 of the 3% transfer fee back. Still have 1900 left on card, debating whether to move some over from my barclay card 0% runs out in May, balance us about 5500, I think I will, on from tomorrow.
Two sales on eBay, message asking if OK to make payment at the end if the months, the checkof people, lol, said yes because I'm greaful for the sale. Still waiting for the collection buyer to contact me.If I haven't heard from them by the morning I will message them.

  • Hi Doris

I thought I had subscribed but I didn't so have now. It sounds like you are doing really well, especially with the argos payments. I have loads of stuff I keep thinking I'll try sell on ebay but never get round too. I should maybe do an ebay listing a day challenge but I know I would fail... oh well, eventually.

I just list a few items every couple of day, and just keep re-listing until it sells, Scottishmummy.

Canceled BOS card to day, they did offer me 24 month 0%, think I should not have cancelled as need to move my Barclaycard 0% runs out in May. :(

Another £22.42 paid off the Argos Card today. Have a few items ending early next week with bids on so hopefully another payment the end of next week.
