Can't be !!!!!d to read all of this, so sorry if this has been said before.
The trouble with opinions is everybody has one.
You come on either board to ask for advice, and every case is different.
Debt and the stress, depression and anxiety it causes creates raw nerves which are easily rubbed the wrong way.
But please can we all remember that this is only a message board and our identities are not our screen names. If you don't like what someone has posted, ignore it. It is of no consequence, they are only electrons floating in cyberspace.
As for my own circumstances, due to redundancy and 25% drop in income, I have a CCCS managed DMP which will 10 years to clear, but I'm not insolvent, I have over £100k equity in the house. I am trying to sell and downsize, before the DCA get a forced sale order or apply for my bankruptcy, as the stress and anxiety is to much. I have been of work with stress for 4 months.
So it's sod the "keeping up with Jones'", I will have a semi or terraced house and some money in the bank. Then I will change jobs to a less stressful one.
Sorry if I have tread on any toes, if so just press the ignore button and get on with your life.I have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0
