    I'm going to start properly on Friday because I have just spent a fiver on a takeaway pizza after losing 1 1/2 pound on SW. Get paid Friday so will set out my intentions tomorrow morning, after I've finished eating this pizza! :-)

    Morning, started the day with good news... I have received a refund from a return I made to ASOS for £20 so that's going straight to the Barclaycard and a lovely lady at virgin media has given me a £10 credit this month so I have £10.39 to put towards the over payments.

    Working in a different office today so have to buy doughnuts to take with me (this will be reinbursed) and lunch, thinking a subway salad.

    Have a good day everyone!

    I'm currently fighting the urge to buy vodka and food so have carried out an analysis on my spending from last month. I spent the following;
    Food shopping £140.33
    Cat food £42.68
    Petrol £86.94

    Want to try and bring the petrol down as I only budget £50 a month for this and last month I went to Notts for a friends birthday.

    Made £4.56 overpayment to Barclaycard which consisted of over estimated payments and interest added from last month. Also cleared the balance on my Nationwide CC using the rent from the OH, with some left over which i havent decided whether i should save for holiday money (will add this to my sig) or get the Barclaycard below £1k. I havent included in my Sig as i try to get rid of it every month. Have updated the Barclaycard total whilst the £4.56 is pending and am waiting for the Halifax payment to clear. All being well should have about £500+ left over this month so really need to make an effort to make more overpayments.

    Where has the last three months gone! Hopefully ppl are still reading this! Lol I don't know why but I start with the best intentions and then forget to update, real life just gets in the way! In the last three months I have been on holiday, had a birthday, cleared all debts except one credit card and brought a house! Not yet completed but fingers crossed this will be in the next 6 weeks and I can spend my first Christmas in my new home. Only have my Halifax credit card now which has just over £2k. It needs to be balance transferred by November or December and I plan to do this once my mortgage has completed. I don't want to apply for more credit until this has gone through as I've heard mortgage lenders do random credit checks to make sure you have taken any additional out.

    Ideally I want to clear that before my 29th birthday and have used the Dave Ramsey method and added all the payments from my littlewoods and barclaycard so I can put just under £150 every month towards it. Not only that but I'm hoping that I can save up £5k for a new bathroom which I have a deadline of May to complete. Been a NSD so far but off to Lidl to get some dinner.
