    So here goes another month...

I have written my budget down even down to extra spare spend me in the week. Already ordered the shopping and managed to get under £50 so happy about this.

I hope I can stick to it this month. One of my friends paid me back for the spa break I paid for so putting that towards spends for barca. Wish me luck!

Had a fab time in Barcelona. Spent way too much money but plan to start all over again on Monday ;-) may will be a complete write off for overpaying on debts so the countdown starts again in June.

    Thanks kitten :-)

I have updated my signature. It is difficult to see the nationwide card increasing again but I enjoyed Barcelona and feel a lot more relaxed about it than I did previously.

Life is about experiences and that is how I have decided to treat my 27th year of life. I will be debt free by the time I'm 28 and hopefully in my own home.

I promise to keep more of an eye on my finances than I have done in the past month and enjoy myself in moderation. First and foremost I would like to be a healthier weight so this is my challenge whilst debt busting. 3st 8lb to go.

No more keeping up with the the Jones'

Anyway rant over....so thanks to my holiday I have approx £450 left in my account and 12 days until payday! Only one lunchtime meal planned with my old boss and a day trip to the seaside (split in petrol)
I have half a tank of petrol which going to work and back will not cost much and I prob won't need to fill up until the end of next week. Still have £25 left of my £50 a month budget for this anyway.

I am wondering whether I should put what ever is left towards the nationwide card or put it away for my car tax, service/MOT in September? I am thinking the latter as I only have £130 saved currently and it's just my luck that something will need fixing with the car. I don't want to be borrowing from family again and I wrote off may as a debt busting month already. My car tax is £110 and I put £50 away into this easy access account every month so by August there will around £300. I suppose if there is any left over I can always pay it off the card then. Anyway your comments are welcome..

Last day of my annual leave and I met with a friend who is on maternity leave. Did a bit of shopping and bought the final thing for the hallway and some bedside lamps. £54 on top of the credit card but I'm not unhappy with this. Roll on June when I can start paying it off again.

NSD for me. Well technically, I did give the OH £20 for meat but this was already budgeted for in the month and came out my purse instead of the hole in the wall.

Tomorrow is a work event so will be catching the train at £3.70 and probably having a drink or three...! Do not intend to spend more than £10. Promise!
