Pleased to announce the safe arrival of NSD number 2!!!

Frugalgurl - there's still four weeks of the month to get your 15 NSDs, and if your household is anything like mine, there will be a mountain of stuff left over from Christmas to use up, plenty of opportunity for meal improvisations! (Mince pie with brandy butter, anyone? Quality Street soup?)

Hi All, hope you had a good new year.
Can I please join again. Going to start with a target of 12 NSD ( lower than my normal target). We have the decorators in next week for a couple of weeks and my hubby and I have portioned up which bits each of us are paying for!!! So my NSD's are going to take a bit of a battering.

Good morning NSD gang! Foresee some spending today so not a NSD. OH wants to buy a bit of exercise equipment, something that wobbles the fat off you and tones up the muscles. I said ok...as long as he gets rid of the treadmill and rowing machine that have been cluttering up the place unused for years! If he wants to spend money on new stuff then at least we can declutter old stuff. Plus I can use the new kit to tone myself up as well. Being off sick for nearly three months led to me putting on a few pounds. Although now I have done my first shift back it won't be long before I am in blue tail fly mode, and the weight will drop off.

Igor, when you have finished washing up the breakfast things, there is the packing to finish for the cruise - you did order the taxis for tomorrow morning, didn't you?

Well get to it! If we are getting the cruise for free in exchange for helping out the crew with some light duties, we can afford taxis to get us there.

Thanks Nargle.I forgot to say that we sail tomorrow,so get your packing done everyone!

Mrs Doyle is busy teabag stock taking...will 965 039 teabags do us for a month or should she pack the 'extra-jumbo' 100 000 crate as well?We can't risk a hysterical Mrs Doyle on the high seas if we run low.

I'll be busy checking up on my Olde Fartinge Widowe stash and my emergency valium,so I've asked Igor to throw in a few pairs of knickers and a skirt or two into a bag for me.Do you think that's wise?

Who's going to help Hubert with his packing btw?He does need some help, due to him not having opposable thumbs.Make sure he packs extra nappies and his 'days of the week' spanx please.
  • NSD #2 for me please.

Marmite I say pack the extra jumbo crate of tea as well, nothing beats a nice cup of tea :) Now then what to pack? I'll bring my safety boots for when stowing the cargo away, don't want to upset H&S and I'd better bring a few extra webbing straps and ratchets we don't want all those lovely supplies moving around and getting spoilt.

I'd better see what dresses I have, don't want to be turned away from dinner due to being inappropriately dressed! Which reminds me, I'll be needing some heavy duty corsetry to keep all the wobbly bits in which seem to have appeared over the festive period :D
