*gingerly ascends gangplank, never releasing vice-like grip on the voles training leads as they 'help' BMF board*
I'm not sure I can face another water-based adventure so soon after the last one _pale_ In fact, my doctor has advised that I should limit exposure to blustery, briney breathing for a while, or I may never play the bagpipes again*Whose that cheering
* So I had a thunk & would like to propose a proposal for a possible solution, to be discussed by the Entertainment Committee at their next planning meeting...
Whenever possible - weather permitting- I shall Tardis out to as many ports as possible, to enjoy some shore-based socialising, thereby still minding The Muvva & babysitting the bronchia, aaaannd ...gettin' in a few shifty snifters while no-one's lookin'
If this proposal reaches the allotted quorum I will set a target of 12 nsds, please. *turns, with posture of an egg-bound emu, lays - moaning quietly- in empty baked beans crate & descends to shore via conveyor being used to replenish the galley*
No,not the voles...not after we managed to palm them off on Vegas......'big sigh'......
I'm so sorry that we're heading off to the open vater so soon again. Most inconsiderate....Who on earth decided on a cruise?Must have been Igor.
'kicks Igor'
Just drop in whenever you can BigMumma and there'll be a cup of tea and a undercooked anchovy and fennel mini quiche waiting with your name on it!0 -

Howdie, I just want to clarify my 12 NSDs for January.
I will be using the Cash Envelope system for Groceries/Petrol/Spends/School Dinners etc and my NSDs will come from that and not Direct Debits etc. However if I am naughty and use my card for any purchases that will count as a spend.
Can you also add me to the 3 in a row section too?2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)
- Decluttering (Underway!)
- Frugal Living (January £0/£500
- 24 in 2024 (0/24)

I am back-again (insert rolly-eyes emoticon here!)
Right,2016 I really need to pull the financial reins in.Life is very expensive with ongoing building works happening (3 months down, about another 2-3 to go: presently living at inlaws while prepering for another 1/3rd of the house to be demolished ).
So,we have an expensive house extension going on.When we have finished paying what we can for the work as we go along, the rest we will need to pay back to inlaws. So money will be tight for quite a long time..........
So starting now,I am going to go back to writing down every penny I spend. For this challenge I exclude petrol, bread, and milk.
Have a lovely Happy New Year,everyone :j:j:j.SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
Pinecone £301,Valued Opinions £10.500
