Another amendment from the Council. Going forward my entitled amendments have been added for the childcare element, and I am so relieved.
Though they have not yet done anything about the £4,469 invoice for 2014-2016 yet!
Here is hoping that while I am away this too will be sorted, and the majority of the debt written off!
At least I won't have to find the £100 odd difference in the rent anymore.
Although I presume the direct debits will still be taking the higher amount this time, as I can't call them until I return and by then it will be too late to amend the DD.
Something good to help relax me on holiday.
I was on my own in the shop today. Several people have collected, and several more have dropped things to do on my return. So I will be back to speed as soon as I get back.
But today, like yesterday afternoon I sewed for Fun. I made myself another dress and I managed to do it between 9.30 and 2pm when I closed. So it's now been added to my suitcase.
Just waiting for my lift now and I shall be off on the first leg of the journey.
    I am so excited!

Have a great holiday. That's good news about some of the amendments to your claim coming through. I hope it all gets sorted in your favour eventually.

Arrived late! Plane was delayed by 11/2 hours. Of which we were all sat on the plane for an hour before we could take off.
    It's 2+ hours ahead here. So it's 2am!
We missed the meal at the hotel but luckily we had bought a meal deal at the airport, and when plane was delayed decided to hang on to it till we arrived, and bought the meal deal on the plane too!
We changed and went out for a walk. Had a few drinks, paddled in the sea at 1am!
I feel so full of childhood memories!

    Enjoy your holiday Mooloo! :D

..When you get a chance, check out flight delay compensation (Martin talks about / advises on it somewhere in the main site). Who knows, you might actually make a profit from spending time in the airport!

Caught the sun but more than i should have. More lotion than ever tomorrow then. Stayed within walking distance of the hotel in the bay round the corner, a once tranquil spot in the 70's is now a booming noisy resort. Came back to the bay by the hotel and had a late lunch at a bar that was also there in the 70's.
    Slightly less noisy thankfully too.
The sea is warm, and inviting.
My head is full of distant memories fighting for my attention. The odd familiar smell, the colour of the water. The rocks. The foods.
All can't really have been 40 years ago can they? Erm yep!!

Hired a car and went down memory lane the last few days.
Head is so full of things from the past.

Today's plan is to drive to the other side, across to Paphos. Although there may be a slight delay as I have a tummy ache at the moment. So I want to stay near the room until I know if it will settle.
The weather is a balmy 35 approx. Sun cream is factor 30 still.

I always use factor 50 when in the Mediterranean. It doesn't stop me getting a tan but it protects me for longer and helps prevent prickly heat.

Factor 30 was the highest I could get my hands on here. Mind you I'm ok.
Having lots of trips out. Last day of the hire car today so back to fig tree bay.
    Paphos, !!!!ouri, Limassol yesterday.

    I'm home!
    The case is unpacked.
The washing all done. 4 loads of it.
Top up shop of milk, toilet rolls and salad.
Then all day analysing the councils latest efforts.
EE tells me they are supposed to disregard all the childcare costs, so I've looked at it all, and they haven't.
So back to appeal. But their latest sums did reduce the bill by £1,190
    Still over £3,300 to tackle.
Going forward they have the calculations right.
So I have been looking at my outgoing a with the new calculations, and with care, if I use my old car costs as a baring, I may just be able to run a car. If I use my savings to buy it and play the snowball game with the credit cards.
I'm going to try to lower the food expenses a bit, and stick to the budget better then I had recently.

The holiday reminded me how much I loved Cyprus, the weather, the food, the hospitality. The scenery even though it's built up out of most recollection.
Swimming everyday, watching beautiful sunsets. Revisiting the past.
But now I am back and tomorrow I focus on the mundane parts of life.
I'm shattered after delays coming home, and early morning before I got to bed.
    Oh well!
