I started a 14 in 14 thread in memory of Soulie who was a dearly loved member of the MSE crafting community. It was very popular so I repeated it in 2015 and now by request here is the 2016 version.

There aren't really any rules other than the general MSE ones such as "be nice"
The guidelines are:
- any and all crafts are welcome; the diversity is a large part of the appeal of the thread
- 16 is a suggested target not an absolute goal, do more or less as suits you
- we love photos though they aren't compulsory
- there is a Flickr group for photos. you have to be a member but there are a few administrators so requests are usually approved quite quickly https://www.flickr.com/groups/2489278@N21/?added=4
- if you've used a pattern it's nice to credit the designer or magazine but please don't ask members to contravene copyright by asking for copies
- all MSEers love freebies so share links to these if you can
- sharing tips and hints is great as we all love to learn
- enjoy!

Thanks for setting us up for the new year, fos.
Sadly, I didn’t complete the 2015 challenge – but I did have fun!
Completed 2015
1. cards for all occasions (and a few extra) – about 150 altogether
2. stationery for son’s wedding – invitations, menus, orders of service, seating chart, table signs, place cards, flip flop poems, tags for favours, post box
3. baby bunting
4. dress for granddaughter
5. “fat cat” quilted cushion cover
6. sack for lego
7. wall hanging
8. Hallowe’en quilt & cushion cover
9. 4 Santa wreaths
10. “Holly Lane” quilt – still to do binding, but I’m claiming it all the same, lol
I think the reason I didn’t do so well this year was that, if memory serves me right, I didn’t declare all my projects at the outset, so that meant I let things drift. This year I’ll list 16 projects today, recognizing that some may be usurped by latecomers. Here goes (in no particular order)
1. cards for all occasions
2. liner for laundry bin
3. Mary Queen of Scots’ cat tapestry
4. crochet mat (Emily’s roses design)
5. baby quilt
6. baby bunting x 2
7. morsbags
8. Toto toy
9. stocking advent calendar
10. scrapbook/Project Life
11. cushion covers for living room
12. “fat cat” mat
13. bedside caddy
14. belt pouch
15. dewdrop scarf
16. pouch for kindleSewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

You achieved loads in 2015. You are selling yourself short by counting 150(!) cards as one project
Great list for 20160 -
I've updated my signature with my latest finish - Storytime Classics by The Frosted Pumpkins which was a monthly SAL. I finished the December block on 30/12/15. I also added Lula's Stocking as I finished all the XS though I haven't made it into a stocking yet
It doesn't work for me having the whole year planned out so this is just a provisional, incomplete list which will change. My main goal for 2016 is to Stitch More, Spend Less (i.e. stitch from stash)- All you need is love cushion
- Christmas quilt block of month
- finish Mirabilia At the Met WIP
- finish Mirabilia Raven Queen WIP
- wedding sampler
- Frosted Pumpkins Postcards SAL
