Morning CBC
Sorry that Ferrer lost. I woke up around 5am and thought I might as well sit and watch it, so I saw the majority of the last 3 sets. He played very well, but just tired out towards the end.
I know BBC show the final of the Australian Open, but don't think they have the rights for the rest of it. The networks seem to share them out (Eurosport Australian, ITV French, BBC Wimbledon and Sky US Open).

Thanks, Emz. I'm glad you managed to see a lot of it live. I heard the tail end of the radio commentary and will enjoy it on the BBC2 highlights this afternoon even though the result went the wrong way:(
Congratulations to Andy though:T. Konta must have played extremely well too, how exciting to have 2 Brits in the semis:j
The commentaries and excerpts of Ferrer that I've heard/seen throughout the tournament have been very exciting as he's been playing better than I've ever seen him. Some of his matches were unbelievable, not bad for someone who will be 34 in April:beer:. If only he'd been taller/bigger he'd have won everything going IMO;). He starts at such a disadvantage. Until he played Andy he hadn't lost a single set. His win against the massive server, John Isner, was really good but maybe it took a lot out of him.
I hope being up so early won't have taken too much out of you. Emz, and that you sail through work with no after-effects:beer:0 -
Hi
I've taken this straight from Google, as it explains it better than I could:
A County Court Judgment (CCJ) is a type of court order in England, Wales and Northern Ireland that may be registered against you if you fail to repay money you owe. It sets out how much is owed, how the money should be repaid and the payment deadline.

Ah, OK, does it also include a fine, or is it like a debt restructuring thing with legal implications etc?If my post doesn't appear to be serious, then it is not serious. So what? Kick back, relax enjoy life and have a little fun. Life is far far too short to be grumpy!!!!0 -

Basically, I didn't pay a debt, so they took me to court and now the judge has ruled that I have to pay so much off it a month so it gets cleared by a certain date. If I don't then they can take further action.

I wish a certain Mr Murray would think about his fans that have health problems when he plays. I was very stressed out watching his match today
. I'm working Sunday, so will only be able to watch the first couple of hours. Might be just as well!!
Claimed a £5 Amazon voucher from Just the Answer the other day. Also have enough on Panelbase for a £10 cash payout, but just need a couple of surveys to clear before I can claim it. Also doing well on Prolific - I've got £8.50 on there so far. Will wait for £20 so I don't pay Paypal fees.
Need to get going with those online MS jobs. Tennis has gotten in the way. I'm at work all weekend, so might start them on Monday. I've got 9 to do and they have to be completed by next Friday morning. So I'll try and get 3 done a day Monday-Wednesday, giving me Thursday in case I need it to get them finished. They're worth £30 in total.

I had to listen to it on the radio (Radio5Live Sports Extra) and it seemed to go on forever:eek:
I felt Andy was pretty lucky at the end in that Raonic had some sort of injury and was obviously under par in the last set and not moving well. This is only from the radio commentary, I couldn't see for myself what had happened to him. Having said that, Andy dug deep and called on all his skill and experience to finish it off, so all credit to him for that. It must be very difficult playing an opponent who is injured in some way.
Now for another nerve-shredding final:eek:. From what I can see it's only being broadcast in highlight form on terrestrial TV so I'll have to resort to Radio5Live again:(
Well done on the survey payouts:T. I've just done one on Prolific and am now only 40p from a £20 payout:j0 -

I'm surprised it's not on the BBC. I'm sure they've shown the final for the past few years, especially when Murray has been involved.
I hope you get another survey soon. There have been quite a few this past week.

Managed to watch 2 sets of the tennis before going to work - wasn't pleasant viewing!!
Another weekend over and done with. I had my review and got an 'exceptional' rating. My manager said she couldn't fault me in any way, that all the other staff members got on well with me and I was always very helpful to customers. She also said I was an inspiration as I'm always there on time, go in when I can (even when she can tell I'm not feeling that great) and I just get on with my job and don't complain. Made me feel appreciated at least.
My hours are all over the place this week:
Monday 3-9
Wednesday 1-5
Thursday 5-8
Nice to only be doing a couple of evenings though.
Redeemed for a £10 Amazon voucher from Superpoints today.
We're a bit skint until we get paid, so I'm trying to save money. We're eating what we've got in the house and I'm looking for some freebies (going to print that cheese voucher from the freebies board and get it tomorrow).
I'm also going to try and list some things on Gumtree to make some cash. Seeing as I don't start until 3 tomorrow, I'll try and get some stuff done:- Wash hair
- Do 2 loads of washing and hang out to dry
- [STRIKE]Wash all the dirty dishes by hand (our dishwasher is playing up as it desperately needs cleaning, but we can't afford to buy any cleaner at the moment)[/STRIKE]
- Complete 3 of the online MS jobs
- List 5 things on Gumtree
- [STRIKE]Start Swagbucks again and get to the second target[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Get the free cheese from Tesco[/STRIKE]
.
