Thankfully, I only have a cat:j. He costs me a fortune as it is so, given my appalling financial state, it's a good thing he doesn't need any containment;).

    Thanks Buffy and CBC :)

When I got the chinchillas, the pet shop did say to me that they would need a bigger cage eventually. They live for up to 20 years, so need something to run and jump around in when I'm not around to let them out. They're currently in the same sized cage as my degus, so definitely need a bigger one. I like that this one's on wheels too, which means I could move them around the flat without OH's help.

I'll have a look at that site Buffy. I'll probably still get the cage from Amazon so I can get it with my vouchers, but I'm always in need of cheap pet stuff .

Yep. I think the average is around 10-12 years though. Still quite a long time for a rodent though.

Nothing to add to the cage fund today, but I have done a few surveys. Can hopefully make a few redemptions next week. If Pinecone got their act together, I've got 800 points on there - but you can't redeem for Amazon vouchers from them at the moment

I did get a £5 Tesco Orchard voucher for meat joints and chickens, so will probably get some chickens to make it stretch further. Will do a couple of dinners for me and OH, plus some sandwiches for during the week.

From tomorrow, I'm going to try and do one Textbroker article a day and see how much extra that gets me each week. Even an extra £25 a week would be great.

I'm not working Sundays anymore, however I've got to go into work this morning for a training thing - 8-10 on a Sunday morning . Up now trying to get my meds done before I have to go. At least I'll get paid £15 for it.

Very productive day so far. Did my 2 hours at work, so that's an extra £15 in next month's pay.

Sold an item on Gumtree just before I left to go to my mums. It was only for £5, but it was an old, bulky item that we were just going to take to the tip if it didn't sell soon.

Done a couple of Prolific surveys, worth £2.25.

Just bagged a Textbroker article, which I'm writing at the moment. Didn't think I was going to get one today.

Going to the cinema tonight to watch the David Brent movie.

Sounds like a very good few hours, Emz. Well done!

I've been watching the Olympics on TV until the early hours every night. I'll be really sorry when it's over tonight but will be glad to catch up on some sleep;)

A lot of the GB winners, when interviewed, have thanked the National Lottery for all the financial support. I only buy a ticket about 6 times a year but I felt enthused to buy a Lucky Dip for last night's draw. It won £25:j:j:j

When I was at Morrisons yesterday morning I got a trolley which still had the £1 coin in the slot. Someone had bothered to return it to the 'parking bay' but hadn't linked it up to the others and retrieved their coin.

    I love free money:rotfl:

First chance I've had to get on here today.

I've done a 6 hour shift, so haven't had much time for money making. I have however done my TB article for the day and earned £1 on Prolific. Also done a few other surveys on some websites.

Had a problem with an eBay parcel that has taken a while to deal with. Still not sorted out though. An item got damaged in transit and I'm trying to claim through the delivery company. I also paid for them to get a signature, and they didn't bother.

    Need an early night.
