First of two washloads in machine, flower vase refilled and I am finally dressed so about to walk the dogs.

I think I've been moving slowly this morning because much as I want to have the decorations down, I don't actually like the time and effort it takes to do it. Maybe when I get back from dog walk, I'll have to have lunch first!

DH has taken the Christmas tree outside and is now getting all the pine needles up. I've filled a bag for the CS and am about to start on my second one.

    Hi all,

Been to @ldi to get bits of shopping - four bags full for £26, can't go wrong! Currently got a massive pan of braising steak and casserole veg on the hob for later. Smells good already.

I'm just having a hot vimto (trying to save my SW milk allowance!) then I will do a laundry shuffle. After that I'll sort out our bags for tomorrow. And there are some clothes upstairs that want putting away. We've done all our school reading books, and I will test DSL on his times tables - they are only doing 2, 5 and 10 which I'm pretty sure he knows.

He's lost another tooth this morning, but no more wobblers at the moment.

I want to get on my own laptop too and back up some photos, would be devastated if something happened and I lost the lapland ones. I've spent so much time on FILs laptop I've neglected my own...

    Also need to empty DW.

Oh, good news, manager of school club has been checking her emails and she's swapped our booking from next week which is fab - it's all coming together. Just need to get through to Easter with this routine and get the work front sorted, then we can set sail for summer! Hooray!

Ok I can put off taking the decorations down no longer. The dogs are walked (beginning to rain now so that could be it for the day), recycling and rubbish are sorted, I've finished the last of the pringles for lunch so I must get on.

Oh just remembered I need to get the second load in the machine first!

Parcels all sorted.. most of the older females in my family are sorted for big stocking fillers.. I pick up bits of make up and toiletries and undies etc throughout the year so they are easily sorted.. The boys will prove challenging as always.

I've got a few bits for DS1 but he really loved the huge huge pile of socks and undies I got this year.. 20 pairs of socks and 10 pairs of undies.. tshirts this year for him.. if they are under £1 and he will like them I will buy him them! I am knitting him a jumper too! that will be him sorted.

I need to dig out my Christmas notebook already don't I???

There is still the discount on my etsy page too .. FLYLADY01 10% off at yarnbaabaa .. :)

Decs are down and ready for DH to put in the loft. Only took an hour but I've all the floors in the house to tackle now, lots of muddy footprints. And just found a third load of washing.

    Afternoon:)

    List for today:

    HHI (including uniforms)
    Paperwork
    Put away all laundry
    Sort school bags
    [STRIKE]Hoover downstairs[/STRIKE]

Did a few other things that weren't on the list, like tape up the christmas tree box as it was falling apart, then manhandle it back into storage, find the login details for my Natwest account, as they magically disappeared a few days ago, when I had saved them at login:eek: Bit of a hunt but I found them in the end:T

Last few bits of washing drying, then I can put away the laundry. Planning on dragging DD to her room in a mo, to tidy it. If I'm not back in a couple of hours, send the rescue squad:rotfl:

Have updated banking and yNab and I'm almost ready for the return to school. DS3 back tomorrow, DD on Tuesday and DS2 is back to college on Thursday! The pup and I are looking forward to the peace and quiet:D

Sorry but you made me laugh. Reminds me of DS1 barricading himself in his bedroom by pulling his mattress off the bed and wedging it against the door because my brother and family were coming to stay. Will Mr LW be around? Find an excuse to shut yourself away somewhere with something to keep you busy if he is.
Unfortunately Mr LW will be at work; he's already arranged to work from home on 8th to take me to We-Don't-Give-ATOS and 14th to take me for my steroid injection, so he couldn't really ask for Monday working from home as well.
It's the same blokes who fitted the new kitchen, (and I'm hoping it'll be the boss-man, Douglas, who actually comes here) but it will still be very nerve-wracking for me because I just don't do people coming to the house when Mr LW isn't here. Part of my MH issues is a mega-fear of people, especially men.
As long as he just comes in, does the task, and leaves, without wanting to engage in any talk.....
Still, I'm sure with the Flyladies behind me, and Terrier Ted here, I'll manage. I've meal-planned an easy dins for Monday, too.;)
Ooh, that reminds me - must dig out my cheque book, as I'll have to pay the chap.....

Posi-vibes please for DH who is having a rough time of it at the paid stuff at the moment.
I sympathize; I used to get really down every Sunday by about lunchtime, at the prospect of going to work on Monday morning. Posi-vibes on their way; and for YL as well.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
