    Posi-vibes please for DH who is having a rough time of it at the paid stuff at the moment.

    Coping vibes coming your way for DH. I feel slightly sick at the thought of going back. I will need a few gentle hugs tomorrow morning if there are any going spare.

    The plan for today is to do as little as possible. DH may want to finish the loft. DS1 going out with friends so we will be on taxi duty. DS2 will be tied to his desk until the homework gets done.

    Tumbler going to finish off the washing that has been over the airer overnight. Guess what, its raining again!

    Mealplan to do, need to see what is actually in the fridge and freezer that can be made into meals.

    Morning all

    Hugs LW - think about us lot protecting you tomorrow instead of the workmen.

    Another one who's back to work tomorrow, can't believe the holiday has gone so fast. I'm currently sorting out my wardrobe so some more stuff for going to the CS. I've still got a pile of ironing to do so I definitely need to do some either today or tomorrow. I'm off to the gym this afternoon and then I'll have a bath when I get back and probably collapse!

    Coping vibes for Jazee's DH and anyone else returning to work tomorrow.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

    Jazee's DH and Wolfy - sending coping vibes for different reasons. Jazee, I know how hard it is when your OH is unsettled at work as I went through that with mine. Wolfy, you will be fine - we'll be with you (virtually!) and Whiz and Pip are both sending doggy hugs and licky kisses to you. Deep breaths now x

    Biscuit monster I know what you mean about new list but can't see past all the DIY gibble I referred to yesterday! Hopefully it will all go away later when J has finished his DIYing.

    Sat here in my PJs but have had Mr M food delivery so that's all put away. Had breakfast and 2 cups of tea and .. well, that's it really! Plan for today:

    [STRIKE]* Make sure S's PE kit ready & lunch money in bag (back to school tomorrow for him, still will have Z home til Tues)
    * Ironing[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Wash up - was v bad and didn't wash up last night's chilli dishes (hangs head in shame)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Put things I need to remember from diary onto Word document[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]* Join a savings challenge?[/STRIKE]
    * Change our bedding - stripped bed, not remade yet
    [STRIKE]* Washing[/STRIKE]
    * Go through J's bank statement with him - we're spending too much and need to try to find out why
    [STRIKE]* Drag S into shower - he hates the thought of it but loves having a shower! Don't want a mad rush in the morning tomorrow when I'll be half asleep[/STRIKE]
    * Finish typing job
    [STRIKE]* Invoice G for work[/STRIKE]

    Blimey, best get on!

    Thanks for the posivibes for DH everyone. He establishes new supermarkets. The one he's been working on for the last year or so he's loved, but the next challenge he's not looking forward to. Think some of it is to do with age and just feeling he doesn't have the energy anymore to run around, yesterday his face was ashen and DD was really worried. Of course, it would help if he could try to stop drinking again, but I don't think that is going to happen.

    I spent an hour in the gym, just running and have had breakfast. Better crack on.
    Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all.

    Dragged myself out of bed at 7am because when ex left on Thursday with DD he said he'd be dropping her off at 9am today....when I text DD at 8.55 to see where they were (on account of putting the dog in the kitchen for ex's sake) she said they now weren't leaving there until midday! I literally grrrr'd at then via text and said I'd use the extra time to get on with jobs. So laundry is on (3rd load which is the net for the livingroom window is about it go in), the TD has dried off a load I left on the airer all day yesterday but was still damp this morning and is onto its 3rd load when I swap them in a minute. I am cleaning the window off but just having a break as my hand was seizing up from holding the blade. I'll get back to it in a minute. The dog meanwhile is laying on the sofa showing everything he's got and snoring :rotfl::rotfl:

    Plans for the rest of the day is to clean the window properly, do all the laundry including the ironing, cook a roast in the hopes we can use up the end of the condiments and not so healthy stuff. Since my hand is feeling much better today, and I'll have the oven on, I might attempt to bake some twinks or something for DD to have in her packed lunch, rather than just the sweets etc from her hamper (and fruit/veg is going to be in her lunch whether she likes it or not!). Tomorrow I'll need to go to Mr A as I forgot to pick up decaf coffee for me and vinegar for the laundry but its raining heavily here so I'm not going today.

    Off to juggle washing and carry on with the window :wave:
