I'm not saying single men in their forties actually GET the 20yr old women they are looking for. However I do feel that is what they are looking for, especially online.

Disagree, it's not a one cap fits all, depends on what both party's are looking for, or not looking for.

I seem to recall OKCupid publishing something showing what age each gender online was searching for, and it did show some evidence that men were rather more inclined to chase much younger dates than women would:

Not always the case though, I have just started dating someone who is mid 40s (and a couple of years my senior) that I met online. Neither of us has children which makes things much easier.

What I do find odd is men who think that women their own age were too old for them. I spoke to a guy on a group trip recently who told me he couldn't be attracted to women his own age and pointed out he was pretty fit for his age - which is true, but he seemed to ignore the possibility of women also being fit for their age. Quite a few guys I've liked the look of on line turned out to have an age range that stopped short of their own age too. Very odd.

I see women listed on POF quoted age 49 and stipulates no one over 50 :eek:
Naturally I don't look at male profiles , but sure glad that POF introduced age difference restriction.

I meet girls below 20-25, while I am 7-8 years older and they call me old perv! That's hilarious, only in UK girls are afraid of a bit older men, I am not 50! In many other countries, it's the NORM to be with a younger woman and the 5-8 years of age difference is the norm! But in UK, 20-25 girls go with 20-25 boys who get them pregnant and ditch them after few years for another girl (isn't that obvious for a 20-25 boy? but these girls still stupid that don't get it) and they leave them single mums. If the 20-25 girls found 28-32 men, they would be more stable! Almost every man below 25 wants to do every woman he meets, it's stupid to expect them to stay with you!

So basically OP you go for younger women yet you can't keep them because you have nothing to offer. You get angry, because you can't handle an adult relationship with an older woman that will put you in your place and answer you back when you're acting a fool.

So may I suggest you start dating men as it appears you're looking for someone without any children. Like you said they won't stay with the young woman you're trying to get so maybe they'll stick with you, but then again you might not have a chance as your attitude sucks.

I am looking for any sensible woman 20-32, mature with brains.
