I am an avid wombler and I do pick up receipts and add them on to my clubcard and or nectar points or use APG etc but watching for 7 hours for wind blown receipts is a bit extreme. I'd rather go to work for 7 hours and get a decent honest wage.

I don't like it much when wombling is highlighted in the media. I think it makes the supermarket more stringent in tidying up discarded or unwanted receipts giving us wombles very slim pickings. Didn't just sound so selfish?

    Hello fellow wombles:wave:

Have calculated my savings on the food order delivery this morning and with discounts and substitutions, I've saved £7.99. Not bad.

I've also boosted £7.50-worth of Tesco vouchers to £30 of Prezzo vouchers. Thank you Tesco!

DH says they have some heavy-duty black coat hangers from work clothing his company sell, so hoping he will bring them home tonight to assess their worth:)

I'm going to read the article later once small people are in bed.

ETA: A dozen good quality hangers, so I'll claim £1. There are more if needed :)
  • Hi wombles, sorry have not been able to check in for a few days. Caught up on all your wombling though. You're all doing great. Another £1.21 for me.

27 wombled T0sc0 points this morning.
Spent my cc vouchers - just on shopping but it means I have not had to take more than £20 out of the bank this week, and most of the food is in for next week = no shopping trips with stroppy kids at half term.

Now, off to look for free things to do with kids next week.

No just honest. It's true. You can imagine them in board meetings discussing it can't you:rotfl:

It probably does represent an issue to these big companies of some proportion. Security may be one such issue.
