Savvy Shopper! I've been Money Tipped!
Today I found £1 always a nice start to the month. Also a 50p brand match.

Hope everyone is well on this windy day.

Hey BOB!!! Well done on the £50!

Hit the soups and stews for easily absorbed energy.
And don't do too much too soon, it will come back and bite you on the bum.

Just got the post and have wombled £11.50 in T0sc0 rewardpoints.

Well done Foxholes. That's a great Mr T result. I will watch out for mine now.

Thanks for the advice as well..

I would love to join in! I sorta already do this without realising :rotfl:

Yesterday I went to Boots with my friend and spent nothing, but she offered to use my card to get her points, £3.28 in total!!

    :T

Can I ask what supermarkets you get the receipts/points from? Is it like when you find say Tesco receipts are you able to go into Tesco and just get them added on to your clubcard as if you forgot to use your card at the time? Or is that not it?

Of course I will add you a number now. Number 6 was free due to bad numbering so I've added you there.

It's exactly as you say. If you find Mr T reciepts go and add them on or Mr S etc.

    I am so cheeky!!

I just wombled a 50" flat screen tv - the previous owner said it has some issues and every now and then you have to turn it off and on again. It works fine for me!

I have enough food in the house to feed us all (including lunchboxes) until Monday, and the total actual physical money that has changed hands is 85p (used £1.50 of cc vouchers as I just went into Tesco for some spread, and came out with 9p bag of carrots 14p broccoli, 25p huge bag of bananas, pasta, 7p basil etc etc etc)

But as the smalls came home with School Trip demands (£27 worth) and I am a pushover wuss, at least the food budget can go on the trips and the sealed pot will just sit and look accusingly at me.

Also, on today's womble news, I took DS1 to the Orthodontist this morning, expecting to be told how much it will all cost, and found out he will get it all on the NHS but he has to wait until next year.

Do you think they would accept a 42yr old dental student? I mean I have another 30 yrs working ahead of me, and they always seem busy. Time for a career change?

    Nice womble!

YS bargains in SM yesterday totalled a saving of £20.57 for food I was going to buy anyway! I'll be updating my signature shortly.

Hope you're feeling better Bob? X

Getting there not there yet. It's funny. At the start I couldn't walk as far as the car after getting out of hospital. Now I am able to stand and walk around quite a bit. But like today I feel I've now run out of energy. Don't know if I will pick up again later. Anyway I'm alive..and am sure I will get there. Thanks for asking.
