Except for a 6 year uni degree - not so sure a 48/49 yr old recently qualified dentist is a good idea!

I have found the local Streetlife page has a lot more traffic than the local Freecycle pages. -

Just in case anyone has not heard of Streetlife. Ours is rife with kids bikes, furniture, local chat and gossip, neighbourhood watch stuff (like who got burgled on which street last night - lock up your garages!) Jumble Sales, local events etc.

Hope you feeling a bit better Bob, the sun is shining here in Leicestershire, blooming freezing mind!!!!! Next week is Half Term and I have precisely NOTHING planned. Eeek.

Thank you. Will try more drinks and hope for the best.

Streetlife is something I've joined but not really used. Sounds like I'm missing a trick there.

Glad to hear you are back on your feet, Bob! Take care of yourself.

I have wombled 376 loyalty points on wombled receipts and vouchers. The vouchers gave me a F inney mojito and a crunchy muesli. And I saw a Free after rebate cheesy dip thing for dds lunch break. In Belgium they do not reimburse the stamp, so it Will have cost me 69 cents instead of 1.77.

  • Hi Bobarella, it is good that you are back on your feet. Listen to your body and take it easy. Do not try to rush your recovery.

Found 24p in classrooms yesterday. Used e-coupons totalling £2.51 on my shopping this week.

    #33 current total = £330.23
  • Hi fellow wombles good morning. Hi Bob I hope you are recuperating well. I am still off sick due to the flu that has infected all the members of the tog household. Ds2 is off school as well today due to the same reason.

    A few wombles to report:

    1. 50p from shopitise for bread and milk (from weekly food shop last Saturday)
    2. Wombled receipt with APG (£1.20)
    3. 8p cashback for receipt upload on cos and csnap.
    4. Hubby brought home a huge cheese and onion butty from work (a med rep came to their department to do presentation and brought free lunch and one of hubby's colleagues gave his) I don't know how much these normally cost so I can't put a value on it.

Thanks Bob, I have just had a read. I didn't know you weren't allowed to pic up receipts in store as I have picked up a few in the past that have been left behind at self service checkouts.
