  • We were out and about on a spendy day today. You should have seen the horror on my dh's face when ds got down on the floor in front of the c0instar machine in Mr M to look for roadkill. However, he wombled 37p, which he promptly donated to the cat vet fund. Good lad.

    Hi wombles...:j

Bob....how are you with you little ones? I was thinking of you last night. Hard work isn't it?:A
I went out for dinner last night with a £20 gift card. I covered dinner drinks and one dessert. My friend had a free dessert as it was his birthday, it would have been £4.95. There was also a 25% discount off the bill! Not sure I can count it all....What do you think Bobarella?:o

A replacement Boot card came with 200 free points! I will add them when I cash them in.:D

My poorly friend asked me to get throat sweets from Sainsbobs late last night and with a triple points coupon, I clocked up 6 nectar points! Woohoo!:rotfl:

Just a thought, would you not have been better off using the triple points voucher on a larger shop?

Normally yes ;), but I'm on a No spend month and the coupon would have expired. Better I use it with my friends money than wait for a larger shop and find its expired:mad:

Bought a reduced item in M&S and realised when I got home that I'd been charged full price. Claimed my £1.10 back again today when I was in town. Would never have bothered before joining this forum. Can't believe in 8 days that i've saved £14.17. You are all an inspiration to me.

My Polish colleague gave me Polish cookies and pretzels as a christmas gift, but I gave her dried sausage in return (all these items were local, and bought when we went to our native countries over christmas), so I won't claim a womble; the value seems equal.

Another colleague shared L.eonidas chocolates, which I'll claim for 20 cents each.
