Wow I looked on Gumtree and they only had 42" tv's. One had slight interference and was going for £200 and one was going for £225. I know that this one is only 2years old...my niece has more money than sense.... so I think if I sold it I could get £300 easy. Would that be a figure I can add to my totals do you think?:)

Yes why not? You could make the money if you sold it so yes for sure.

Im finally off of the mark with my wombling for the year

    #10- £8.56

This is through 3 APG receipts i had, 2 were mine and one i wombled.

I have also been walking to work rather than get the bus or use my car for the last few days which is saving me money everyday, however I'm not sure whether to put this towards my total? as I'm not putting it aside as and when i do it. Thoughts please.

Everyone is doing brilliantly! Im hoping my walk to work this morning will produce some goodies. The street i walk down is full of betting shops and pubs so id expect some change to turn up, it was the same street my friend found £20 a few months back.

    Soph

Yes I'd add that. If you are doing something for nothing and have extra money in your budget because of it then add it I say.

Got an early womble to report - DH won £25 on the lotto last night! Got 3 numbers on a lucky dip. Shame it wasn't the £50million, but don't wanna be greedy :D He's putting towards a debt once it's collected :T
We are only in the early part of January and my wombling has already netted over £130!!

That is great Dizzy. About time you guys has some luck after your horrible flood. Your doing great.

I'd like to become a new womble too please!

I've been on MSE for years but never really got into the habit of challenges etc. 2016 is THE year for me to get involved :j

Any tips for a newbie? :D

Of course. Number on page 1 Debbie.

Tips for a newbie. Change how you think completely. Look around all the time. You can never be sure where you will see something. I've found notes in a quiet road and next to a school. As well as beautiful sofa throws, shoes that I've sold on ebay, & lots of coupons. Oh and a hoover :) all in the suburbs of south London.

  • Very slow start, a 2p coin found and a Tesco receipt which already had its points collected but I uploaded it to receipt hog for the points, we haven't been out to the shops (to save money) so wobbling will be slow, but worth it

    Personal Loan: £1902.03
Overdrafts (split over 2 accounts): £1100
Credit Card: £3781.61 (currently interest free)
    Mortgage: £29,410.53 (6 years, 4 months remaining)
    Bed finance: £1450 (interest free)

    Morning fellow Womblers :)

20p found under one sons bed :)

Found restaurant vouchers (gifts received by husband through work forgotten about) that were out of date by 6 months and a year ...called at the restaurant and they are allowing me an extension to both :) one to be used in 2 months £50 and another to be used by the end of June £50. Very happy about this :):):). Going to add this as a separate find to my total.

Have had money confirmed from Quidcooo but wont add this until its hit the bank.

Also I use my Mr TEES vouchers for eating out treats. So for £10 vouchers we receive £40 restaurant vouchers. Each £2.50 is worth £10. Great for family birthdays and food on holiday in Uk.

Very good result on the restaurant vouchers!

My husbands office have free fruit that often goes uneaten. He brought a load home tonight. I'm going to give that a nominal value of £5.
