For our Department meeting there was another miscommunication and two people bought croissants, pain au chocolat, danish, etc. They had calculatedctwo pastries each, for six colleagues. There were only five, and one is on a diet, one is diabetic. I pigged out and had five over the course of the day. We shared with whomever came to our desk, and I brought the last one home for dds' breakfast tomorrow. I'll claim €2.

My wombles today were finding an oyster card with £4 on it! Total brilliant fluke. Never seen one lying around before. So I picked it up and tried it on the tapper and sure enough it was in credit! Thanks universe.

Some great wombling going on!

I managed to be given a long length of Sky cable and some connectors that will allow us to feed through to the boys' room in the new caravan, so it wont be utter hell while we are out of the house during the renovations. The satellite man said he felt sorry for me.

I'll claim £5, as I've no idea of the true value. His kindness was priceless.

Some business lunch leftovers serve me for dinner; working late today: a white kaiserbrötchen with salmon, a diamond shaped olive bun with mozzarella, a small lentil salad and a small tabouleh salad. I'll claim €2. (I think the company paid €13 for them :eek:)
