Also had an amazing womble of a competition prize!

Return crossing + car + cabin, for 2 people to Belfast - usually costs me £500 and I won it from the St3na ideas centre for telling them what they could do better, on a route I use at least once a year anyway. They said I could add people on, and just pay the difference, so I might wait until they do a 'kids go free' promotion before I book it (I am sooooooooooo tight!) Happy Days!

Wow Foxglove's how utterly wonderful! What will you do, pay the £500 you would have spent off your mortgage, or just have an extra nice Christmas? So happy for you.

In other, smaller news I found £1.01 today roadkill. I did sell an item for £50 too. I haven't counted eBay sales as wombles this year or last as it is something I had to pay for to sell on. So that's outside my own wombling code. But nice

I have 6 months to use the crossing, so will probably end up visiting inherited step-gran with the kids at Easter, and possibly dropping past the (gasp!) in-laws (if you call a 180 mile round trip in the wrong direction) so they can see their grandchildren. But I do have 3 weeks off at Christmas to entertain the kids........ (I need my head read)

Yesterday I Wombled 2 bananas, 2 pastries (oh and madam can have them for breakfast), 2 packets of crisps (opps I ate them to mop up the stress of work!) And had an appt with a client at a coffee shop and bought them a latte (I can claim expenses for my clients drink but not mine!) I had water but then when we sat down he gave it to me as he had a can of red bull. So £4.31 added to total. Also over last few days I found 21p roadkill

Just been accepted on to a T3sc0 Christmas Orc4ard thing for Christmas food. So that will be either £5 or £6 of vouchers. Free food, my favourite!
