If you are wasting all that money on unnecessarily fast broadband then it would make sense to waste a bit more on an unnecessarily fast switch.

I mean why would you want anything faster if you've got a family that plays games online*, or might watch content via the internet.

I mean it's not like VM now do 50mb as a bundle with the phone for about £25, and 100mb for £40. Less if you get a deal.

Which doesn't in any way shape or form put it as comparable to the more "reasonable" speed packages for pricing for phone + unlimited internet (IE no nasty over use charges that can very quickly make a cheap package cost several times more than an "expensive" one).

It makes me laugh when people seem to thing that it's a total waste of money going for a faster (or simply better) internet package then the cheapest bare bones and highly limited one you can get.

*Often with large patches or digitally purchased and downloaded (it's not like modern games are hitting 25-50gb a time).

The OP is with virgin, 2/3 of virgins products cant be maxed out with a old 10/100 switch
