;69788940]So: None of Uber, LDTA, LPHCA, GMB, "all the other Taxi trade Organisations" and the Twitter users agree with you.
That doesn't mean you're wrong ... or paranoid ...
So as this is not the first of my posts that you are stalking I assume your mate Byker has put all the rally cry.
And what makes you think anybody agrees with you?
You seem very jealous of people that actually have a valid opinion and are willing to share it.
What makes you think anybody disagrees with me?
Do you actually have an opinion?0 -

Hermione_Granger wrote: »So the LPHCA only have operators as members?
Maybe that is because the LPHCA is an association that was formed to represent private hire operators.
It is called the Licenced private hire car association.
Nothing to do with Operators.
It has claimed many times to represent the views of PH drivers and quoting huge number when in fact that is just the number of drivers that work for the operators.
So I assume that you think it is right that an organisation that only represents the interests of Operators to be involved in the introduction of PH Licensing in London?
They actually wanted the PH Lic to be linked to an Operator. So that if a driver wanted to leave or was sacked they would be unemployable?
Unless they could get another Operator to help them get a PH Lic!
Sounds like they could basically enslave PH drivers!
And also operate a very effective black listing policy of any drivers that say, wanted to start a proper Union or perhaps get better terms and condition for drivers!
Of course that is fine by you obviously.0 -

You really don't have many uses do you?
Or opinions?
All you do is post crap and attack other viewpoints and informed opinion.
Why not prove me wrong?
As you seem to think I should offer proof?
So prove me wrong!
And do this yourself not with your little crew of forumites.0 -

Best you let them know that then.

As are Black Cabs
There are racists in every part of life, in every job.
That's just life.
There are indeed racist Taxi drivers.
There are also racist PH drivers.
But the vast majority of Taxi drivers are not racist, unfortunately people never remember the quiet majority but they do remember the mouthy minority.
As an example you may forget the Taxi drivers that let you out and say thanks with a nod when you let them out.
However they will suddenly be forgotten when another Taxi driver lets loose a barrage of four letter abuse when he reckons he has been delayed by a few seconds.
People will not think about what the driver looks like but just remember him/her as an abusive Taxi driver.
Generalisations are a part of life.0 -

It will be hard for someone to prove you wrong when you've yet to prove yourself right.
You just post any old !!!!! and slag off anyone who dares question you.
Just because you keep spouting your crap it doesn't make it right. Post some facts if you want to stop being considered a laughing stock.0 -

Does that website include every statement they have made over the years in the trade press?
I doubt it.
You can't live your life on the Internet.
It will stunt your intellectual growth.
I could attempt to find the articles I have my information from but to be honest I don't really care if you believe me or not as you are largely irrelevant.
But I am glad that you approve of the LPHCA attempting to introduce modern slavery and an easy to manage black listing service for PH Operators.
Did your internet search bring up were their registered office used to be?
And who owned nearly every property in that street?
And who wanted PH Lic connected to an Operator?
Not for any other reasons than those I have mentioned above?
Can you actually have a debate without using Google?0 -
