Just DH and me here - we'll probably stay up to see the new year in then off to bed. May not sleep as our next door neighbours are having a bit of a do. They were really sweet and invited us in but DH isn't too good today and we figured they don't want us old fogies cramping their style lol.
Happy New Year everyone, I wish you all a happy, healthy and Christmassy 2016. See you next year. (I did put some lovely wine glasses here but when I edited the post they disappeared)

_party_ HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! _party_ :beer:
Here's to a happy and healthy new year. To those of you who are poorly, may 2016 bring you better health. To those with new little ones and ones on the way, may this be your most special year yet! To those wanting to achieve big or small things this year, may you find the courage and motivation to achieve your goals. I'm really happy to be starting another year on here with you all.
In terms of my 2016 goals, as I previously said i'm going to carry on with my ones from last year; cooking a new meal once a week and doing Pinterest ideas once a month. I want to try harder at using up all of our food and I would also like to run a 5k. DH and I usually sit and review our goals from the year and write new ones for the upcoming year on New Year's Eve but we'd had a glass of champagne and lots of food so got tired last night! I'm sure we'll do it today so there will be more from me i'm sure.
DH and I sat down to a three course meal at home last night with a drop of champagne, luckily we didn't stay up until midnight as Wiggle had us up at 4:30 this morning! :eek: He was really grumpy as he was so tired so DH has taken him out in the car to get him to have a little bit more sleep. I think we're going to have a quiet day at home today, i've got the buffet food for us to graze on.
lellyo yes we're hoping to get our money's worth with this kitchen! I wanted to learn to use a sewing machine last year, so I bought one in defiance of DH who kept asking if I would really use it – and I still haven't used it! :doh: I'm going to make it a goal of mine this year to actually use it!
fiesty one day you'll be able to mould little one into a Christmas nut and then you can outnumber DH!0 -
Happy new year to you all and to your families. Here's hoping for a great 2016 xx0

Happy New Year my festive lovelies!
I am not making any strict resolutions this year as last year we had a great one (a few downs too though) and I am just going to continue trying to be more laid back and quit searching for perfection.
I am however determined to be more thrifty and to cut down on our food waste. Today we have some home made mince pies that need using (or they will have to be binned!) and a lot of cream, so I think I shall whip up some mince pie ice cream for the freezer!
Our pantry is no-longer a dumping ground
Sadly the yoga ball, hoover, mini step ladder and clothes horses have had to be piled back in there BUT everything you see on the shelves was unreachable and in boxes and it was causing a lot of stress. That was what I spent my NYE doing lol. The best thing was that it didn't cost a penny as it's shelving we were actually considering binning! We bought some of those adjustable rack shelving systems back in the summer, but it is unlikely to be put up any time soon as it's not been denoted as a priority, so I took matters into my own hands and got rid of the dumping ground that was the cupboard under the stairs. Hopefully we can now get to all the baking ingredients easily and the Tupperware and storage containers so we can be more thrifty. Sorry for the ramble, if you hadn't guessed I really love being organized![/COLOR]2024 Challenges

Looks good feisty.
This year I plan to de clutter, sell what I can, throw away and charity shop the rest. Then use my garage as proper storage and bulk buy tins and toiletries etc when on special. It's such a wasted space.
I also want to acctually make some money and not be constantly skint. Last thing is to eat healthier and get some excercise in. Even if it's walking more. I need to lose weight badly. I feel sluggish and have sore joints. But I don't want to make a big target or I will end up sabotaging myself. So baby steps it is.
Hope you are all fresh and none too hungover? I just had a couple glasses of wine, so feel good. Think I will round up the family and go for a walk. There is a fairy trail in a woods about 15 minutes drive. Need some fresh air before sitting down for a big roast dinner later.
Have a good day x:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Happy New Year Everyone I hope your dreams and wishes come true in 2016 x0
